Terrible customer service…read more I ordered a pair a shoes which arrived and were horribly uncomfortable. I took them into the shop in London and was greeted by less than friendly shop assistants who said they can't exchange them in the shop - I had to post them back. So after spending money on the return postage (they don't do free returns) I was told they can't refund the shoes because the soles were too dirty. I had tried the shoes on for a BRIEF moment at home before finding them horribly uncomfortable and immediately putting them away and sending them back. Absolutely ridiculous. I'm now stuck with a horrible pair of shoes and thirty pounds poorer.

Dune Men is my title for this business but there is a certain amount of ambiguity as to whether it…read moreshould be just 'Dune' or not. The shop 'Dune' sells only female footwear and is found on one street.. .and round the corner from it, seperated by another property, is 'Dune Men'... that has a direct passageway through to the actual Dune shop. Interesting. However, I went in... ..and found myself in front of the most interesting trainers I have ever seen. I was about to whip out a camera to take a picture but I felt rather then heard the approach of a worker. She was very friendly and helpful, very kindly explaining why I should put my camera away RIGHT now. The trainer itself was kind of multicoloured with multiple velcro straps (my description doesn't do it justice.. nor does it make the trainers sound remotely desirable) but the colours were a tasteful faded hue.. ah they were lovely. They were pretty well priced as well, only £60, and they also did a few scarves and belts.. that kind of shop. The staff were very friendly however and they offered alot of help if I wanted to try anything on or make any enquiries. They were well versed in their jobs and when I make a bit of money I will be back to invest in the aforementioned trainers...

I thought, considered, and struggled, before deciding that dishing out 80 pounds on half price black stilettos, however chic, was simply not worth it. On the whole, the quality is good but it would require some luck to find the perfect pair of shoes for any occasion. I would highly recommend a browse on any shopping trip to Covent Garden.
