The food was okay, but for me, the experience was definitely more of the draw than the food itself. I'm not a huge fan of mayonnaise-based sandwiches (and I'm also not a big cucumber fan), and the majority of the savory options were variations of chicken salad, egg salad, and other mayo-based sandwiches. They also had nut butter/peanut butter sandwiches, different hummus sandwiches, and a cucumber and cream cheese sandwich. If you love those types of finger sandwiches, you'll probably really enjoy the food selection. For me, though, $50+ felt a little steep if I were going primarily for the food. I actually visited years ago with my daughter when she was around 4 or 5 and quickly realized it wasn't quite the mom-and-daughter tea-party experience I had envisioned. Coming back this time with friends, however, was a completely different experience, and we had a really fun afternoon together. They've also done a TON of renovations since my first visit, and the interior is really pretty and makes the whole experience feel special.
