The only negative is the restroom. There is only one and it is through the kitchen which is right next to the stage. The person who takes care of booking is very nice. The fees they charge go to help the CALM house be self supporting so it is an excellent cause. I've used the space and have booked more events at the same location. I plan to partner with them often.

This preschool is tiny…read moreand when we first moved here we were debating if we should put my 3 year old in Crosspoint or Happyland. Well Happyland was the first to call after being on the waiting list and I was hesitant because it was so small and not as fancy as Crosspoint. Once we were accepted and told our new friends that our son was going to Happyland people automatically asked how we got him in there because it's one of the more desirable schools in Niceville. I guess we got lucky. Once school started my fears automatically went out the window. it's a small class, they only accept a small amount of kids so every kid gets the attention they need. The teachers were great. I don't know how to express how amazing they were with my kid and how well they treated him. They truly deserve more pay then what they get and you can tell they love being there and interacting with the kids. I saw my kid grow into a social butterfly and each week he would come home more knowledgeable then the last. I saw my friend kids come home from Crosspoint, and although Crosspoint is also a good school I was able to tell the difference between what the parents told me and what was happening at Happyland. Crosspoint is essentially Wal-Mart and Happyland is the mom and pop shop. If you have the opportunity to get your kid into Happyland, Do it. Put yourself on the wait list and wait it out, you won't be disappointed. It actually broke my heart having to tell the school that we were moving and won't be returning after the summer. You want a school with amazing teachers, great curriculum, family environment with involved parents and teachers that's care, this is the school. I will always have a happy place in my heart for Happyland. I hope I find a place in Navarre like this.

Crosspoint is very "popular" and has a very impressive facade/website. Well... we got on the waiting list as Happyland and Crosspoint were all full at the time. My child ended up going for a short time to the CDC at the NWF college. While it's nice too, we got lucky and someone moved and we were called by Happyland with an opening 3 months later. Once my child started going there, she was really happy and social and was excited about going to school everyday (unlike the Previous preschool - but I think she was having some peer trouble there). She loved Happyland all the way through and loved being with her teachers, who are genuinely wonderful! We got a call a month later from Crosspoint as well, but at the time my child was so happy at Happyland that there was no way I changing schools. While I don't have personal experience with Crosspoint - my son who is just turning three is definitely going to be going to Happyland! Yes, we were THAT happy with it!

Dalton, Captain of the other boat was super fun and knowledgeable. We had two granddaughters with us, ages 9 and 5 and Captain Pete got them set up first and fishing right away. He taught them how to watch the line and when the reel or tighten the line. Very patient with everyone. The boat was clean, all the fishing equipment was well maintained and in great working order. Cons: The fishing totally sucked. I was not at all impressed with the spots we stopped at. No flats, grass shore lines, etc.....just boat docks. A few times with fishermen on the docks. We did move around 7-10 times but always to another boat lift or dock area. I expect a little more I suppose from a guide service and don't think I have my expectations too high. Facebook page is not updated very often with pics or catch updates....maybe should of been my first clue. I know it's easy to criticize when you catch very little (2 fisherman, 1 keeper red, 1 keeper trout) but it was the spot selection I question. I understand late July is tough with the water temps so beware and lower your expectations and not be disappointed like I was.
