Rex simply makes conversation about his growing procedures and the amount of care that he takes to grow the grapes. I'd definitely agree with the other Yelp reviewer about the fascinating skill of Bio-dynamics! I never realized how much work goes into tending to a crop. One phrase that stuck with me was when Rex said that you're tasting Long Island in these wines. And, you are. The wines and conversation were interesting. The Rose was more dark and not a traditional Rose. Every other wine was red, delicious and rich not only in flavor but in history. Looking forward to the warmer weather when we can go back out with friends and family and sit outside on the deck and share the experience.

Thanks to our instructor I was able to follow her instructions and keep up with the class, not bad for a newbie. The goats were cool and did not get in our way most of the time. The goat handlers did a great job preparing the goats and handing out food to us to feed the goats. There were a couple of accidents but the poop easily rolls off the yoga mats. Thanks to Drew for setting up this complicated event. This event had the added bonus of proceeds going to charity.

Nothing like a bunch of cuties running towards you. They were so friendly and adorable, and very chill about being pet. I liked that she brought an upbeat playlist that included some pop music. Made it much more fun to follow. The biscuits from Main Road Biscuit Co. were incredible, as is everything they make. The honey butter and peach jam took them above and beyond. The LIV distillery was a bit of a let down for me today. They didn't seem too thrilled to have us there- the bartenders were extremely unfriendly. I've had pleasant experiences here before, so was really shocked at the shift in hospitality. Additionally, the Bloody Marys were eh. Long Island Spirits makes an amazing Bourbon, so I'd been hoping for a drink option involving that. Overall, super cool event. I laughed all morning, which was much needed. I pet lots of goats. And I got a sweet Yelp swag bag. What more could you ask for?

The actual vineyards have very strict restrictions on group size post-COVID (even now with NY open) so I would suggest keeping the group to 10 or less. We upgraded to the party bus and was worth it! One improvement I would've liked to see would have been options for dietary restrictions. Lunch was a veggie platter with dips, and Italian hero sandwiches. Our group had a vegan, gluten free, and dairy free folks so we brought our own snacks and they had some of the veggie platter. As a meat eater myself though, the food was great! For 8 people, I booked the Cabernet package which is a 7 hour tour with 3 stops and includes lunch, chips, cheese & fruit platter, water and soda. We also opt'd for the Riverhead Ciderhouse which is a $15 additional cost per person. Our driver, Ray, arrived 20 minutes before our scheduled pick-up time, which was great so we were able to leave exactly on-time. We were in a Lincoln Stretch Limo, my guess is that it is classified as a 10-12 person limo, with 8 people we were fine, but I think if we had a 9th person it would have been cramped. The limo was in great condition and on a 95 degree day, the AC kept us very comfortable. Ray was great, he was super personable and was happy to take tons of pictures of our group and carry coolers to and from the limo. He took great care of us. We had about an hour at each of the 3 stops; our travel time from our pick-up location was about 1.5 hours. First stop was Ciderhouse and was probably my favorite. It's a large and comfortable atmosphere. Next up was Duck Walk where we grabbed a table inside and Ray set-up our lunch. The sandwiches provided were good, but kind of on the small side. 1 of the 8 is gluten free so did not eat the sandwiches and the 7 of us had no issues finishing them off. The cheese and fruit platter was good. The last stop was at Pugliese which is mainly outside with some live music. We brought our snacks from the car in and had them with our wine. Nice vibe but on a super hot day it's a little uncomfortable. Overall we had a really great time and I would definitely do it again.

He was wonderful, friendly, knowledgeable and he was on top of everything. He truly loves his job! We felt very safe and will definitely be using their service again. Everything went so smoothly from the day we booked it. The bus was extremely clean, the lunch that was provided was excellent too! This was one of the best events we have ever planned!
