I just purchased a 1939 Cadillac LaSalle. My experience working with Unique classic car has be very good. AJ the saleman worked with me on ensuring I had a great deal on my car. AJ and his team let me put a deposit down on the vehicle. They gave me a month and half to complet the sells transaction. I was able to complete sale in about 30 days. If you are in a rush to have the car transported, I would highly suggest obtaining your own transportation. Their transportion company delivered the vehicle intack. The car was just a beautiful in person as was advertised. The car ran beautifully. I was very happy with my over all transaction. I would purchase another vehicle from Unique Classic Cars. Transaction from beginning to end went very smooth. Was very happy with offer and price we agreed on for my Cady.

Purchased a 1973 OldsMobile here in Novemeber. Sales Rep Landon. Tarsnport Person Jeff. Also have spoken to Manager Jeff. Car was loaded in the middle of the night with no help. Driver scraped the entire passenger side along trailer. Transportation company denied insurance coverage and no help from Unique Auto. Refused to refund transportation fee and 0 help on claim. Jeff from transportation called me and let me know they are still actively using this transportation company and they thought it would be settled by now. Absolutely terrible experience and no one is taking accountability! read more

Unique Classic Cars - Car Dealers Near Me - Mankato, Minnesota

Honestly, I have lost faith in most car dealerships. I had a bad run-in recently and it ended really badly. Unique (and Jeff) have reminded me that good car dealers still exist and that quality vehicles are their business. I would recommend them in a heartbeat and will be back - they can count on it! read more

Jeremy helped us select a model for my car-crazy father. He was very clear about the car and that it isn't new and shouldn't be driven like it's a muscle car. We really appreciated his straightforward and honest approach. read more

They mislead the car's condition, especially the paint and engine in order to sell it. The car I purchased looked nothing like their photos and video. The engine was low compression on numerous cylinders. End result a new engine. Be careful with these guys don't make the same costly mistake I made. read more

Cost me 5k for some paperwork definitely shady . Lied about time frame of deposit acting as if they did anything worth 5k worth of work took me a long time to earn the money they certainly did not earn it .Can only hope someday it comes back to them karma works that way. A lot of classic car dealers use this at your own risk for sure. I have bank statement and emails to back up my end. Buyer beware they will not be honest about something simple as paperwork time frame they definitely won't be honest about bigger problems 5k lesson don't make the same mistake I did find another dealer. read more

BUYER BEWARE wont ever buy a vehicle here again paid 32k for truck was delivered not running and still not running correctly. Lets just say has problems from front to back was told it drives and runs great far from truth. I bought from out of state on the word of the salesman being a old truck I was expecting few issues but got more than was told about. So far spent almost 1k and still cant drive yet. Would not recommend to anyone in the future. read more

Friendly, eager to help sell their cars... BECAUSE they know they are selling you a lemon. I Asked many questions about car. Was told car looks good. Bought car at $6000.00,and so far I've had to put in an extra $6500.00.on a car that was verbally told to me, no effort for this car!. They will lie to you to sell you a car. They manipulated the odometer! I can go on and on, with all their lies! BYER BE WARE!!! I would love to sue them for wrongful selling. But, I'm not the type to do that. ...but I may start!!! read more

I just won an eBay auction where it met the reserve and after a few days and a few calls someone told me they sold the truck I won to someone else. In what world is this ok, what kind of business is this? read more

Do NOT buy a car from these folks. Bought a 1965 Mustang from them on E bay. Car was misrepresented. Said it was a smooth running car. When car was delivered it was a rust bucket and would not start. All floor panels and trunk panels were rusted through. Brake lines were rusted shut. All wiring was shot and had to be replaced. Cost me a fortune to get the car to where it was safe to drive. read more

Make sure you get the car inspected before buying and make sure the inspector is schooled on year and make of the car as they are clueless. I will be spending well over 3k to get a car safe to drive after being told and shown it was a "fine running car". In the end it was cobbled together in ways that only a person skilled on the car would find. After I got it to the house and on my lift for an inspection I saw just how bad I was taken. But in the end and after my repairs I will be keeping another old car on the road for whoever gets it after me and they will be getting a correct and safe car. read more

I bought a 1963 Bonneville last week from Unique Specialty . After getting the car delivered it had more issues than expected & described . I contacted them by phone & talked to the owner , we went over everything . He got backed to me as he said he would , and we came to a agreement to settle the issues . I'm happy with the outcome , its not a show pony but i paid for what i got & i'm satisfied with everything they did to help matters out . I would consider buying another classic from them again , BC in Fl. ( 9-25-18) read more

We bought a 2006 Pontiac Gto from these folks. We live in SW Florida. The car was exactly as described. Photos were thorough. They sent us several videos. All documentation on point. They were super patient with our timeline. They even came to the airport to pick us up in Minneapolis St. Paul. We were super pleased with the whole process. We would definitely buy from them again. read more

This is a tough market because so many of these cars are OLD and fairly worn out. And they sell them "as is". They're kind of typical used car salesmen. They were willing to negotiate on the price, however. I would give them a higher rating but they lied to me about whether or not a super key feature on the car worked. Before driving down the 1.25 hours from the Twin Cities I asked if a the key feature worked because it wasn't demonstrated in the product video and I was concerned. The salesman said "Yes it works.... but the passenger side isn't quite right.... When I arrived to look at the car it turns out it didn't work AT ALL and a major component that makes it work wasn't even installed in the car. And it's a very expensive and difficult part to locate as it was only offered one year. Otherwise the sales process was OK and they have a ton of cars. However that was the only car I was interested in. I was about to tell them no but I was so tired of looking at older cars with numerous mechanical problems. read more

Purchased a car on Ebay from them. They said runs good and smooth. I checked the oil, fresh oil. Had a small miss, but they said had sat for a bit. Got it home in January and put in storage till march. Couldn't get it to run right. Checked the oil and it was a milky color. Pulled valve cover to find white milky sludge. Called them and they said they didn't change the oil. Said to send pictures and they would see what they can do. They looked at the pictures, admitted they changed the oil because it looked a bit dirty. They told me it had been 2 months, so sorry. I said I couldn't drive it in the snow. Nope, sorry. It's your problem. read more

there are few companies with sales force as compassionate as Unique Specialty and a sales person that goes over and above to help. my experience was with Jeff and all i can say is to seek him out in any future sale because he is willing to go over the top to help a customer with a problem and then followup to make sure everything about the transaction is favorable to the customer. and i must say the problem was mine not Uniques so again JEFF is the professional sales rep that i found most trustworthy in a crazy world of fast deals. slow down and work with Jeff so you to can have the same rewarding experience. cudos to both Unique and to Jeff, i fine rep of a fine company. i never blow smoke but here i can not say enough to recomend. read more

I'd stay away from here ,I purchased a 19701 nova that was represented as being show quality, car wouldn't even pass new york inspection due to no wipers or horn or emergency brake, it was missing the wiper motor and everything with it , same with the horn. the wiring harness was cut so close to the fuse block that bit couldn't be wired and needed a new harness. the rear axle was welded so no emergency cables could be installed and required a new rear axle. if you need any proof i can submit everything needed to let you see it for yourself. i was looking forward to this being my first classic car i purchased I'll buy another one but never from here read more

Made a big mistake by not walking away from a car they couldn't get rid of for nearly a year. All because it was original numbers matching and was what I was looking for (from 1,200 miles away). Nice enough people to talk to on the phone but so much was not divulged it was sad, no, unsafe at best. This vehicle was thrown together just to flip, not by them but they obviously checked NOTHING before making bucks on it. No brake fluid in one reservoir of the master cylinder and the other barely covering the bottom ( no leaks anywhere). Engine cooling fan blade loose, hand moveable and crank pulley not torqued. Differential needed two pints to fill ( no leaks anywhere again). Transmission linkage adjusted incorrectly , low on fluid as well and therefore not shifting as it should even though everyone I talked to there said they drove it and all was fine. Best one was how some MORON put the fuel gauge sending unit in with no gasket, no wonder they left the fuel so low. I had to find that one out the hard way........real safe people. Wrong carburetor was mickey moused as well. Almost everything I touched had to be aligned and tightened. No one mentioned how the driver's side door CAN'T be aligned properly because the quarter panel was welded out too far at the jam. I don't sweat the small stuff but the safety issues there is no excuse for no matter what you made on it. This is my only recourse and I'm taking it. I'm the obvious idiot who fell for it so shame on me. On the good side, after a lot of my own labor and not a huge amount extra money , it will turn out to be a nice vehicle. Can't imagine the cost if I had to have things done by hire so buyers beware....Check it out personally or pass it by. read more
