I had a slow leak in two tires, when one started getting bad I decided it was time to get them both replaced. I did a bit of research at Tires Plus's website, and once I knew which tires I wanted I gave the shop a call. Shaun at the shop took my call, verified that they had what I needed, and set my appointment for the same day. Shaun also greeted me when I arrived, got me checked in quickly, and advised me about how much time the work would take. I took a walk around the area (check out the thrift store just behind the shop, they have some awesome finds) and arrived about five minutes before the work was due to finish, and they wrapped up work exactly when they said they would. The price was fair, I received all the info I needed to understand my new tires' warranty and the work the shop performed, and Shaun even showed me the bolts in my old tires that were the cause of my problems. Overall this was an excellent experience and I'll be sure to come back for alignments, new tires, and any other repairs that are beyond my own ability to perform at home. read more

We had an appointment at 9am. When I called. The person said it would take about 1 hour. I called at 11am. And they then said it would be closer to 1pm. After explaining that we had an appointment, as well as had other priorities starting at 12pm they were able to "move cars around" Still took over 2 hours of waiting. read more

I'm still trying to figure out how I went in looking for 4 tires at around $140 each and 4 TPMS sensors and ended up spending over $1100. The top part of the invoice has TPMS valve service kit labor and TPMS Valve charges, then further down the invoice there are charges for TPMS valves and TPMS valve removal and replacement. On top of that the TPMS valves were $81 each. Looked them up online and see the same TPMS valves selling for a top price of around $25. On another note, the website said they had 14 of the tires I wanted in stock but the sales person said the only had 2. Tires Plus needs to get their act together with the web site stuff. read more

Please explain to me what is so hard about tightening lug nuts properly? Tire is literally in the name of your business, please explain why on the way out of town (not 10 miles outside of town) I have to pull over for 4 loose lug nuts on One tire and a few more scattered throughout the other tires, thanks for the horrible experience. read more

Went in for new brakes, and they called me after the inspection trying to charge me with 10 different things and parts for almost $1000, told them I just wanted my brakes done and then went down to $700. My brakes still squeak, and my wheel bearing is 10x worse than what it was when I took it in. read more

Rudest people ever. Do not go here. They refused to listen to suggestions on what could be wrong with the car. They literally laughed in my friends face and called her dumb for even suggesting it could be the starter (it was indeed the starter). They also tried overcharging $100 for a service when only the $10 service was requested. I waited for 3 hours in Mankato (I live out of town) just to get a call saying they are missing a 4th tire of the kind I had asked for. Don't do it! I was in last winter and they had my truck for 4 weeks. I went in for tires and a sound that turned out to be the Automatic Braking System. They did not have a working part. They only use old parts. And refurbish them. Then the part broke. Then they tried to repair the broken one. They finally rented me a car. I asked for a large tire, I go check up on it and they put on wrong tires. I told them to change them. And I had a coupon for the type of tires and they grouchy asshole guy said it wasn't the right one. They still could't find a used part. I said go find a new part. They didn't want to. So I waited. And waited. My truck just sat out there as I had to drive a cube in the winter. The front desk girl was cool. The rest not. Finally my truck is done, I go to pick it up and it still making the noise or another noise. I left it there. There was another part that needed to be done I guess it was done. So I go pick it up and it is like pulling a diesel truck behind me. ABS not working. Not good. I call them and he says bring it back. PTSD sets in. I said no I need you to put in a new part. He said no. I said no way am I going to have your guys touch my truck again. I paid $4,000. I called my daughters mechanic and he said the broken parts were still hanging underneath and the part installed was crap. I had to go get a personal loan to pay for the truck. Then I had to pay the new mechanic $3,000 more to make my truck drivable. Don't go there. I saw someone mention a lawyer for their issues. I am not a rich person, it was traumatic. Absolutely terrible, waited two hours after an appointment I made while walk it's got saw first for my car to be looked at. Was up for five minutes and found the issue I had already told them what was wrong. Refused to get issue fixed and when asked to pay for the mechanics "time" I was shocked, what time??? Told them straight up I was going to call my back right after and charge it back. Wouldn't have been so bad but last visit I was charged for an oil change they never even did not called to tell me any updates. I have been coming here for a few years always satisfied ........hubby took car in for check up for long trip ahead, "Everything checks out fine. " checked a sensor , replaced sensors ,changed oil routine stuff...375 ok. replaced sensor lite, lite back on 10 miles down road Went on 1565mile trip took car back in for sensor lite ?fixed again.....but now we need 2 new tires, brakes and front end work. Update on my vehicle that was damaged at Tires Plus in Mankato, MN. We went in on Monday, 8/10/20 after speaking to their Corporate office and starting a claim against the damage that was done to my car, corporate advised us to go in and ask for a rental while this all gets investigated. We went in and spoke to John Clark the store manager who again was very rude to us, we asked him for his supervisors name and phone number, John gave us his name Nathan Lebun, but would not give us his phone number so that we can speak to him and voice our concerns. John called Nathan on the phone and we asked John to let us speak to Nathan, John denied us. John stated that Nathan was going to do some checking and would get back to us, after sitting there for half an hour my husband and I called corporate again and advised them of the situation, we sat at Tires Plus for an hour, finally we were able to get a rental. While at Tires Plus on 8/10/20 we went over to our vehicle and it had not been touched, the windows were and sunroof were closed and there was still 2 inches of water in the door panels. They had not made an effort to dry out the car, even though earlier in the day when John called us, he stated that they would dry off the car. Mind you my car has already been sitting in the lot since Saturday, it was still wet and now the smell was horrible in there. They ruined my car! On 8/12/20 we got a call from a Jim Flint from the claims department asking us what has been done, we advised him that nothing has been done to repair my vehicle, my car is still sitting there, it has not been touched, all we got was a rental on Monday. Jim said that he would do some checking and get back to us. We have been calling every other day for an update, as of now we have not had any other update, besides Jim stating that he is still waiting to hear from the store manager, that the store manager has not given him enough information, this was on 8/19. Jim advised us to keep calling every 48 hours, Jim does not answer our calls. Today, 8/25/20 we called corporate again, they will send Jim a message to call us. This is so frustrating, I take my car in to get an alignment and this is what comes from it. Horrible business, horrible customer service. I had order tired online, but when I show up for my appt, I was told them didn't have those tires , I would have to purchases tires that where 4 times the tires i had order, I left and bought my tires else where. Today I went into to get my oil change. It toke them over your to change ( i had a appointment ) when I got my car back, the oil change light was still lit, I went back into have them turn it off, I was laugh at , was told to drive around it would go off ( i have had my oil change before , it has alway been off , when I got my car back ) I drove to Minneapolis and back, lit still on . I had a tire blown out and came here to purchase a new tire to retire the spare that I was using. I had an appointment set, and due to some lack of clarification on what tire I'd wanted (I made the error - not Tires Plus), I was given a tire that was slightly more expensive than what I wanted to spend. The employee (who was very, very courteous) apologized that he failed to confirm the tire I wanted, and happily offered to match the price of the tire that I was expecting to pay for, and the tire that I was charged for. I was pleased with this. Not only was a price match offered, the employee apologized for the "long" wait I had - despite only waiting for about 45-50 minutes (not at all bad - considering I was having a new tire installed as well as getting an oil change). I had a very pleasant experience at this store, and will undoubtedly return and recommend to friends! read more

Came in for a tire change at 8:00am with an appointment with the car that needs the change in the parking lot. I sit down and about 4 hours later I ask for the progress report on how the car is doing. They told me it was just going into the shop and I'm like okay I can wait a little longer. An hour later I am told that I have to wait for a tow truck to tow the car that is already in the parking lot into their ship, which is about 10 feet away. In summary I have to wait & hours for a tire change, would not recommend. read more
