I have used Union Taxi for over 20 yrs however today they said they left a voice mail canceling all service due to the snow storm. one day hey never left a voice mail and two even if they did it would have been at 2am when we were sleeping. they have never lied before. I called Lyft and they delivered as promised never using them again read more

They are very reliable. Especially if you have to go to the hospital for any type of procedure the hospital will not release you to UBER. But they will release you to a cab company. Every time I use them, they were great. read more

Trying to support local business, I will no longer support this business. On top of being spoke to rudely by the dispatcher I wound up driving myself to the airport after repeatedly being lied to that the driver was 2 minutes away. Scheduled the airport ride the night before for a 5:40am pickup. The first time he says hes 2 min away then asks me my address. I call back 5 minutes later, he tells me the same thing and I tell him if he's not here in 2 min to cancel the ride. He says okay and hangs up the phone. I leave after 2 min and Fifteen minutes later dispatch calls and tells me the driver is outside my house. At this point I'm near the airport. read more

It was like they handed a random person the keys to a taxi and told them to drive. 2 stars because the car was roughly on-time and we got where we were going. I had called the day before and made a reservation for 4:30am to go to Newark Penn. The taxi showed up at about 4:40. It was an ancient Crown Vic with what appeared to be a tape player. I said I want to pay by card. The driver said to call the dispatch. The dispatch said to ask the driver. Finally, the dispatch took my credit card number. Later on, long after we had left our home, the dispatch called the driver. The driver took it without a hands-free, on the highway, in the fast lane. Then he handed it to me. I'd have to pay cash. The driver made a wrong turn or two before getting on the highway, where the car shuddered and shivered as he drove past our exit. I reminded him we were going to Newark Penn. "Airport!" He said. "No, train." "You're going to Newark Airport?" "No, Newark Penn." So that bought us a few more minutes of joy together. About this time, I told him I needed a receipt. He started mumbling and rummaging through his car. Finally, he found one and started filling it in while driving. read more

I've used Union Taxi several times and have always been very satisfied with the service. Like another reviewer, I once had a very early AM flight. On departure morning I checked outside about 10-minutes prior to the reservation time and the car and driver were at the curb waiting. Cars are clean, the drivers are professional, the rate for airport transfer is very competitive and reasonable. I highly recommend these guys. read more

The best taxi/car service experience I've ever had. They were on time to pick us up from my house to take us to the airport. Upon our return, we gave them a call while we were picking up our bags and they were waiting for us outside as soon as we walked out. The car ride was smooth and the car was clean. Fifteen minutes after dropping us off my doorbell rang, it was our driver with my cell phone in hand that I'd left in his car (I blame post-vacation brain). The driver was courteous and the prices are very reasonable compared to the prices of a yellow taxi. I've taken Union Taxi every time I travel to the airport and will continue to use them in the future. read more

They were on time and pleasant on the phone. The gentleman that came was not very friendly the car was VERY old and he insisted on listening to some AM radio station that was completely interrupted by static .... the car smelled like an overdose on air freshener, I guess cause the car was so old. Talking hands free should not be allowed----- EVER, enough said!! read more

My family have been using this car service for years and for the most part the service had been professional and on time. The last time we used them the driver was using his cell phone as he navigated around the turns on route 22. My husband addressed the driver and he became very belligerent. Let's just say that this will be our last time using this service again. I also wasn't satisfied with the response I received when i called the headquarters to report the driver and his unsafe behavior. Thankfully Uber exists and I will give them My business from now on. uniontaxi #uber read more

We have used Union Taxi for many years. They are always on time and their rates are excellent. We highly recommend them!

I've used them multiple times for flights at all times of the day. They are so reliable, always on time and rates are really competitive. I will never use another car service again to the Newark airport ! read more

I'm sitting here in a restaurant looking out the window. I have seen two Union Taxis in the last half hour...both stopped at the stop sign on a side street moving into traffic on Morris Ave. Both drivers were on cell phones...had the phones up to their ears obviously engaged in conversation. Personally, because I witnessed that, I would never call Union Taxi. read more

Just want to say I had a good experience with this company. I booked an early morning 445am pickup give them the info. The following day when my mom stepped out at 435am the driver was already there waiting. My mom had a safe and comfortable ride from Roselle NJ to East Orange NJ. I normally do not leave reviews. But I was happy and touched that this company was on time. I would recommend this company to anyone. . read more

Great service!! I was having a stressful day and they were absolutely the best thing that could have happened. Other taxis were closed or unavailable, and then I found Union Taxi online. They were so friendly, found me when I barely knew where I was, arrived right on time, called when they were outside, addressed me by name, and cost much less than anyone else. I felt safe and they made it so easy! read more

Great service! Was early for a scheduled pickup. I biggest concern when flying is the taxi not showing. What a relief to see the taxi outside 10 minutes early. read more

No wonder uber is beating them out. I had 9:30 reservations and I called them to tell them I needed a cab. I made the mistake of ordering one when there were 5 of us, ok..my mistake. I called back and told them it would be 5 people and I would either need a van or two taxis. They said no can so we could expect 2 cars to show up, keep in mind that I made this change 3 minutes after the original phone call. The first cab shows up at 9:04 (9 mins after the phone call). I had also asked the driver if they took cards because I didn't want my guests to pay and he said yes to pay AFTER the ride. So I put my guests in the first cab and I waited for the second cab, after 15 mins I called and they said he was on his way. At 9:27 I said screw it and had to drive to the place or I would've made it way too late. On my way there at 9:30!! They call and he goes taxi is outside, all I said was are you serious the last car came 30 mins ago WHY would I still be waiting. Didn't apologize or anything just hung up. I hope they go out of business. read more
