One person in our group was trying on hats…read morewhile we were looking at some of the other stuff in there and the guy behind the counter said "are you looking for a hat?" When we said no just looking he said "didn't think so" (very rudely). Well we were interested in other items but chose to walk out because of the encounter. Well as we are walking out he eyes us up and says "yeah, you go shop somewhere else" and shoots us with a finger gun. Well this is one of the rudest encounters I have ever been part of. I can understand if we were rowdy and tearing the shop apart but we were being very respectful to his items. We felt very uncomfortable and you can guarantee we will not be back which is a shame because we are in the dells a lot and were interested in some of the items. Dont go here unless you want to be verbally abused for no reason!

We…read moreactually came in for the fudge (buy it by the piece for $4/ea. or by the pound) and browsed the store for quite a while. I love the fudge. Orange-chocolate or chocolate-walnut? Yes, please. They have a great selection of leather wares and Minnetonka items. Cute moccasins for him and her, duffel bags, purses, wallets. I actually don't wear leather, otherwise I would have left with more than just fudge. They also have a section in the back of the shop that includes lace and they sell the nice (Waverly, Iowa made) Rada Cutlery. If you want quality anything, you'll get it at the Midwest Leather Co. Very reasonable prices. Highly recommend.
