I first contact Union Choice when I saw their ad in PORAC magazine. I was in the market to sell my condo and move into a bigger/long-term home. Don was great from day 1! He always had time to speak with me and explained the process so a normal person could understand it. I got the sense from Don right away he genuinely cared for my concerns on what I needed for my family. He set me up with his RE team, Derrick, Christina & Shane. They made the sale process seamless and did not bully me into a buyer. Tenisha and Emily made the back office experience great as well. When it came time to close the deal, I new the entire was working for me and my family, and not just their bottom-line or commissions. I was so impressed with the sale/purchase experience, I called Don again for my re-finance. He recommended I contact him after six months to see where the market and rates were, and how much equity the house had gain. Attempted to refinance with union choice. Since I am a union member I thought they would be a great company to refi with. (Boy was I wrong)Beginning the process was very easy and uploading all information on there app was easy with the help of Jeanette. After I uploaded info, a few days later I received my loan application. There are some things I wanted to change so I requested to speak to someone that can help clear up some questions. I received a call from Tenisha. She came off very pushy and at some points in our conversation pretty much had a take it or leave it attitude. She was so pushy that she wanted all my authorization forms before they can make any changes to my loan docs. Which means I'm a done deal in there eyes. I refused to send them before I saw in writing any changes. While on phone with Tenisha her other phone was ringing while we were having a conversation and she said to wait because it was the president/ ceo of company and his name is Don and she needed to ask him to make changes about loan and interest rates. When she got back she had him on a conference call with no advance notice. Not professional at all. At this point I'm not feeling like a non valued customer and not treated with courtesy at all. So we start to talk about what concerns I have about loan and in polite words pretty much doesn't let me finish talking and interrupts me mid conversation and says this is all we can do and this is not a swap meet. Really!!!! So couldn't even have a professional conversation and I told him that I didn't feel like I was being treated with respect or professional at all and they said we'll cancel everything and I said no problem!!!! If I'm not going to be treated with respect and professionalism I'm not going to give them my business. Be careful with these people. They advertise that there going to give you the best but your just someone there trying to get in and out. They told me that there were no fees but definitely going to charge me closing cost. On my breakdown of fees. Your just a number to these people. And there just rushing to get you in a contract. There not worried about making you feel comfortable or at ease. All in all I wouldn't recommend one person to these people. And better business bureau should look into these people. Hope this helps at least one person. read more

They had me send all my paperwork and ran my credit only then to tell me that they would not make enough money on my 2 loans and that I should go thru someone else. Waste of my time.. would not recommend to anyone and will never try to use them again.
