I'm now on my fourth pair of shoes from the Running Room and have gotten great service every time I've gone in. Knowledgeable and friendly staff will take the time to help you find the right shoe. Definitely worth spending a little extra money if you run on a regular basis. Plenty of other running gear of all sorts as well for whatever you may need. They have a running club that you can join for free too. I've gone out with them a few times and they were super nice and considerate of runners of all levels.

If they don't have something you want, they will happily order it for you. The owner, Chris, is a runner himself (he recently returned from a Seattle marathon, whereas I was visiting Montreal from Seattle, so we chatted about runs in our respective cities). He knows his stuff - and he also knows the store is competing for business with online retailers. He said he does what he can to stand apart from other stores, to make the customer's experience a stellar one, to get what the customer wants and make the customer happy. After purchase, if the customer is displeased in any way, he WANTS the customer to return the item/s, and he truly wants to know what didn't work out, so he can follow up with the manufacturer or distributor or buyer for the store. There's no pressure to buy anything when you visit here. You can still get info on local runs and events, or the product line, or techniques or training strategies. The lady who works here, with Chris, are happy to oblige. I really appreciated the lack of pressure to purchase anything when I initially visited the store. As it turned out, I visited a few times, only buying stuff on my last visit (I got a fabulous Quebec running shirt, and my mom got a running belt). They have two runs a week where they invite anyone to join them: Wednesdays at 6pm and Sunday mornings at 8:30am. Despite this being a smaller-sized store, they still pack in good variety of merchandise, too, and they are quite knowledgeable about their product lines. All in all, this is really a wonderful store for those who run (or walk).

It's an outlet for Aldo so you can find yourself with Blowfish, Minnetonka and other more expensive brands along companies like Spring. The prices are always less than $40 (usually boots) and it's common to see pairs at 2 for $40 (like when I picked up my Minnetonkas). As someone who wears size 9, I have a smaller selection, but they have a TON of size 6-8 on a regular basis. The place is huge so if you love hug heels be prepared to spend an hour or two to narrow down which 6 pairs you want to leave with!

It looks a lot more current. This is still a very family friendly store, clothes for just about everyone and in every category. Casual wear, dress, beach to lingerie. I was looking for some affordable formal clothes for work and found so many items under 20$ I couldn't believe it! The best part is that many of their pants have long inseems. I am 5'8 and always have trouble finding pants that are narrow or long enough elsewhere. I saw many generous sizing up to 16 too. In terms of value for money, this place fills the bill. If you need to upgrade your wardrobe with trendy to classic styles, l'Aubainerie will help you without breaking the bank. I find the quality very comparable to larger retailers like H&M, Reitmans, Smart Set etc.

This store had the best selection of comfortable sneakers I've ever seen. We needed a wide size and they offered several styles. Compared to other shoe stores or sports stores, Coin des Coureurs offers something highly specialized and has a very knowledgeable and friendly staff. They also have a selection of clothing, accessories such as hats, sunglasses, fitness trackers etc. If you have foot pain, feel like your regular shoes just aren't doing the job, I highly recommend this place for the best sneakers. Note that they mostly just sell high end models, brands such as Aasics, Saucony, Brooks, Hoka, New Balance, all geared towards running or stability. Unless they are on sale, styles are generally upwards of $150. The staff really knows how to identify the different types for your need. The one model in particular we wanted was not avialable at this location but we were able to purchase and reserve it at the Brossard Dix 30 location. The employee was so helpful, I truly appreciated his expertise. The next day we went to Brossard to pick up the shoes and it was well worth it - the Brossard location has even more selection and the staff is equally just as pleasant. I won't be shopping anywhere ever again for my sneakers - everyone should come here and see for themselves what a good pair of sneakers can do, it is truly life changing.

Bad customer service is also the main reason why customers leave companies. Today I experienced the worst customer service face-to-face experience in my life. Yesterday, Saturday December 5th 2009 at approximately 11 a.m I went to the Cavendish mall to have a coffee. I passed by the DELEVANTI store (not the one for children but the one for adults) and I saw a nice dress. I entered the store to see the dress, ask for the price and see other dresses (As I have two Christmas parties coming soon and I am searching for a special outfit). There were two 'ladies' for customer service, the older one was the rudest person working for customer service I have ever seen. She asked me if I was going to try the dress and I said that today I just wanted to see the dresses. She literally told me that if I wasn't going to try the dress today it was better if I leave and come another day. I say to her that I wanted to see what type of dresses they have and the prices too. She said again, come back some other day when you are 'ready'. Ready for what?? If I wanted I could have purchased one dress that day...but obviously she wasn't encouraging that AT ALL!!! I insisted that I wanted to see the dresses and because this is a free country I walked towards the rack where they have the dresses. She literally said to the other lady..."I think she doesn't understand". I reply to her: I understand what you are saying but I want to SEE, to SEE the dresses! so I went and do that...she then said to me: Now I need to be standing next to you while you see the dresses and you are wasting my time!!!!! That's what she said...Me, a potential customer, I was wasting her time!!!! There was no other customer on the store ...zero! I just looked at her and said do you really need to be standing next to me "wasting your time" Amazing!!!!!! I left the store and I will never come back again. On top of that I am planning on tell all the people I know at work, at McGill university where I study and literally to all the people I can how bad is the customer service in that store.
