A few years ago, I left a crummy review of this place. I would like to say that the past few visits have been more pleasant, so I wanted to change my review. Maya is always helpful. Last time I went in to pick up an embroidery order, she was getting the full brunt of a dissatisfied customer's fury. She replied with self control and said she understood, but she didn't set the prices of the store. (Uniforms are expensive regardless of where you buy them). Yes, their website was overloaded on the days of their yearly sale. If I'd really wanted that discount, I would have driven over to buy in person. The store is a dump. The stuff is thrown all over the place. They have barely any selection of merchandise and what they do have is terrible quality. Don't even bother going there. I wish our school had a different supplier for uniforms. The website is poorly designed for ordering, there's always an issue with it. You don't hear from them until a few weeks later when they tell you the uniform is ready to pick up. I feel like some of the pieces are pricier than the quality. The embroidery is fine. read more

Was a little hesitant to go here due to poor reviews, but I must say, I was incredibly impressed with the young man working the front register. He was incredibly knowledgeable and helped measure both of my teens to ensure we got the correct fit on our uniform pants and shorts. He was incredibly nice and patient with us, as teens can be picky. Great experience and much better price than going to Land's End online. read more

I'm super frustrated with this company. I made an order for my sons uniform shorts on 7/11. I called on 7/20 and left a message to obtain the status. I received no call back. I called on 7/27 and left another message. I called in later on the same day and dialed 0 and for someone. She said she'd check and get back to me. She called back within 10 minutes and said they would go out that day. I received them on 7/28, but I ordered 6 pairs and received 3. I called today (7/30) and left a message for customer service and called again and dialed 0. They picked up the phone and laid it down. I heard lots of chaos and conversation in the background. It's as if they were taking the phone off the hook and forgot that someone was actually calling when they did it. My son, like many others I am sure, is about to start school and I'm short three uniforms. read more

I honestly do not like to give bad reviews, however I believe this is warranted. I ordered uniforms back in June in hopes that they would be ready by school. Unfortunately the entire order was not complete and when I called to inquire about it 3 weeks later they had no idea where the remainder jumpers were. I figured ordering online for shirts would go a bit smoother. Well a month later and my daughter still does not have her shirts. I understand it's the beginning of the year, however the school year happens every year so this should have been anticipated. They say they will call you back and yet no calls. I would not recommend this place but unfortunately we are stuck as parents because that's who we have to purchase our uniform through. read more

First of all, I had to come to grips with the fact that the items here are overpriced and they don't heat press the logos on outside apparel. Secondly, I was being helped by a sweet young lady that was working with me when the blonde foreign lady started running her mouth about my need to have an outside garment pressed on. She suggested I look through the used items and I informed her that I didn't need to and I didn't want her talking to me. Four stars only because they tend to be on the expensive side but sometimes they throw you a savings bone. For example, this store ran a special in conjunction with my son's school. The 10% special helped a lot with getting a school logo sweatshirt that I cannot find anywhere else. The staff is very friendly and they bring me back to old school shopping where sales reps walk you to the clothing and assist you with items versus saying make a left at the shoes you'll find what you need. In ordered a sweatshirt for my son with his school logo. I was expecting to have a logo patch sewn on the sweatshirt but it was actually embroidery. Very nice touch!!! Occasionally the store runs specials with specific schools. I took advantage and I was very pleased with the savings. I opted to pick up the item once it was ready, as promised I received a phone call a few weeks later letting me know my item was ready for pickup. Horrible customer service. Horrible. I'll be ordering from Land's End from now on. The blonde lady at the front register is extremely rude and passive. She has a major attitude. There is no one on the floor to help. If you're lucky enough, they rush you and just throw things at you without helping you with sizing or anything else. I placed an order online for my sons uniforms and it said "NO WHERE" on the website that the order would take 2 weeks. I called to get the turn around time a few days after ordering and was told that it will take 2 weeks however, my son starts school on Monday. Now what are we suppose to do? Customer beware! After years of using them sparingly, I'm driven to drop this review. This is a high-volume uniform provider with terrible customer service. I ordered two skorts in school plaid in early August, only because Lands End does not carry them. 2.5 weeks later and still no phone call or updates. I popped in today to hopefully pick up, or check on the status. There were no less than five employees in the stockroom digging through unorganized cardboard boxes of plastic bags with people's orders for a gentleman (who clearly was not going to get his order either.) The store owner was sitting there eating in front of a computer screen, rather than help employees locate orders, and it took several minutes for one of the extra employees to ask if they could help me. Shocker....my order was nowhere to be found, and when I mentioned I had not gotten a phone call they tried to pass it off on the school to notify me?! ... as if schools have nothing better to do than to call parents about a slack uniform vendor. I got an estimated date of pickup a month from now, putting two plaid skorts at 7 weeks out from date of purchase. So glad I didn't buy anything else here! read more

I order school uniforms every year and have been extremely happy with the quality of the product. Most importantly the customer service is great. They are always listening to your concerns and should there be a problem, it will be fixed without a problem. I feel anyone can get my products but not everyone give that great customer that makes for a happy me. read more

i bought uniform shirts for my new teaching position. first was about to think of ordering online, but instead decided to go to the store. at the store the girl was trying to say my school wasnt on the list when she past by it twice. i also asked if there was a clearance section bc me being on a budget wanted to go there first and on the off set of a gently used uniform sold back to the store. she just quickly browsed through the clearence without letting me really have a chance to look myself (honestly dont think she thoroughly checked the list of schools). also wasnt given the choice to either have the hand pressed or hand stitched. was automatically picked. this was a younger girl. and usuallt impressed with this place bc my moms used them for my sister and brothers school uniforms years ago. read more

First year at a school with uniforms. We only have a couple of suppliers and I needed her to try on things. Went to the store--experience there was good. High school looking boy showed us around. He did not talk much and didn't answer questions well but he sufficed to get the uniforms. I went up front to pay, he told me they should be ready in 2 weeks and that they would call me when ready. As of today I had not heard from them so this morning around 10:15-10:30 I called. I punched 5 for cust. care---got recording to leave message but then it rolled back to the recording to punch in an option. Punched in 2 for orders, it said mailbox full. Punched in 0, got recording that hung up on me. Called back & punched 6. Got a gentleman on the phone that said that lightening hit the phone system and now the new system was not working. He took my # & said he'd call me right back. At 1 I called & punched 6, got his vm & left a message. Then I sent filled in the contact form online as he had said something about sometimes it did not take the message. 4:00 no call back, called, punch 6, got vm, called back punched 5 & to my shock got a live person who said that they called on the 6th to say they were ready but lm. NO you did not! I just went through my phone records & there is no incoming call from them! I am not happy with them & hope that I can find used uniforms from parents at school or may give other uniform source a try because my first visit will be my last if I have anything to do with it. read more

Disappointing. Having made a purchase for my Sis in law on Saturday & returning the skirt that ended up not fitting on Monday.The store refund rules are; If items are returned within 14 days a full refund is compensated and after 14 days its store credit. I had paid with cash, the cashier ignores that and emphasizes in suggestion giving me two options to hand her my credit card for the refund or to get store credit. Being puzzled as to why those are the only options offered, she calls her manager; Apparently the cashier was thinking there wouldnt be enough money in the register to complete the return-All of which could have been communicated, understood and let them figure out what could be done. I loved uniform source for the past couple of years. They do quality work, even if their prices are a bit high. This summer, I dropped off shirts to be embroidered with the school logo. It was the first year our school allowed us to purchase non-uniform store shirts and have them embroidered independently. Anyhow, when I dropped off the order (and pre-paid 300.00!) I was told embroidery was taking 2 weeks. That was fine...school started in 2.5 weeks. Well, when the 2 wk deadline approached and I still hadn't heard from them, I began calling. Never once did I get a person on the phone. I usually got a busy signal (what year is this??) or was prompted to leave a message, to which my calls were never returned. I also emailed and received no response. I had to drive all the way to Kennesaw 25 mins from home to be rudely told they were having issues with the embroidery dept, and they should be ready on Saturday or Monday (this was a Friday). It is now Wednesday- 3 weeks after dropping off the order and I still cannot get anyone on the phone to tell me about my order. Never again!!!! read more

I ordered online - never got any confirmation or anything. Waited 3 days. Called. The girl on the phone said "our website stinks" and she said my order was just waiting for embroidering. It's now a week later. Still no email or confirmation - and I called again, b/c school starts in 5 days. I ordered 2.5 weeks early so that we'd have our shirts. No one answered the phone - and I bet I won't get a return call. With the mark up on prices, fix your website and let people track their orders. Terrible. read more
