Hiring Jayd was one of the BEST decisions I made for my wedding. Her talent is off the charts and she was able to capture every memorable moment of my special day. She is truly a pro and you can tell she was genuinely happy to be part of my wedding day. Hiring a photographer can be a difficult task. They not only have to align with your budget, but you also need to find someone you mesh with, personality-wise, as they play a vital role in your wedding day. Overall, Jayd fits the mold for the perfect wedding photographer in so many ways. She was not only reasonable with her pricing, she was responsive over email and phone, answered all of my silly questions immediately, mapped out all of my options from the get-go, told me and everyone in my wedding party exactly what to do to make our photos look stellar, and was just a pleasant, happy and enjoyable person to hang out with for hours on end. I cannot thank her enough for her amazing work that will provide me and my family with incredible memories for years to come.

I wholeheartedly regret choosing Abella Studios as my wedding photographer. They were difficult,…read moredisrespectful, and unreasonable to work with. They nickle and dimed us every chance they got. The day of photographer didn't listen to our requests. We asked for dramatic and artistic shots, but the photographer insisted on cheesy shots. The videographer missed so many moments of the wedding day, and was combative and defensive when asked about it. The video was formulaic, cheesy, and lacked any bit of artistry. It was exactly what we asked them not to do. When we brought this to their attention, they tried to BLACKMAIL us by saying they'd do a few extra "complimentary edits as a courtesy" in exchange for signing a document saying we wouldn't write bad reviews. I wonder how many other clients they tried to blackmail. They charged me to ship my printed canvas to their studio for pickup. I'm surprised they wouldn't cover an $8 service charge on a package that cost thousands of dollars. They also wanted to up charge to have a title on my wedding albums. It's so tacky and off putting. We were treated like a problem to deal with, and they acted like they were doing us favors all while speaking in such a condescending tone. They're difficult, rude, obnoxious, and the product is nothing special.

The experience of choosing the photos for the album was incredibly convoluted. I just received my wedding album and apparently the "silver package" gets you more of a booklet than a wedding book. Hiring B+AM -- Bianca + Anne-Michelle -- was the best decision we could have made for our wedding. The day was beautiful. The venue romantic. The food delicious. The family well-behaved. But it was our wedding photos that we really got right, and that's because we hired Bianca and Anne-Michelle. One of the many things that makes this creative team so special is that their photography reflects who they are as people: warm, attentive, thoughtful, soulful, beautiful. Where other photographers show up to take a bunch of pictures, B+AM is there to tell your story. They're there to capture these precious moments in your life, so you can re-experience them whenever you want. For us, that's all the time. Whether we were posing with the family, laughing with our friends, or staring at each other wondering what the hell just happened, Bianca and Anne-Michelle caught it all, with a patent-pending mix of professionalism, creative inspiration and a way about them that makes you want to stay friends afterward. Thank you again Bianca. Thank you again Anne-Michelle. Like I told you before, the things we treasure the most in the world are our wedding photos. And the reason we have them is because of you.

After viewing albums on their wedding website and having a brief introductory conversation, we booked them for our wedding in Philadelphia on October 1st, 2016. We met soon after at Gorilla Coffee in Brooklyn to get to know each other better. We had a great time chatting away about wedding photos and what we were envisioning, but also food, movies and more. Fast-forward to our wedding day and BAM arrived at the hotel with bright, smiling faces plus an arsenal of photography gear. The photos were everything we wanted. Candid shots getting ready. Private, romantic first look photos on the balcony. Excited shots on our walk to and arrival at the venue with family and friends. They captured photos of the ceremony, our guests, the food and décor perfectly. Every emotion we felt that day can be seen in at least one photograph. My husband and I, our family and our friends will treasure the moments captured so beautifully by BAM.

Even though our wedding was more than a year away, I knew I wanted Kiss the Bride as our videographers. From the beginning (just over e-mail), communicating was a pleasure. Alwyn was incredibly genuine, responsive, honest, and accommodating and we were so excited to find out she would be the videographer at our wedding! The survey Kiss the Bride provide was extremely useful not only to direct the videographer, but also to refocus what my husband and I really wanted to be captured. Watching all of the past Kiss the Bride highlights together (and ..tbh.. crying uncontrollably) was actually a huge bonding moment for my husband and I! When it finally came to the day of our wedding, we honestly have no words. Alwyn fit seamlessly into our wedding (most of the time,we didn't even realize she was getting the shots she was getting!!!), and she was never, ever in the way. If anything, she helped us enjoy ourselves even more! Alwyn also worked perfectly with our photographers, and all our other vendors. When we saw our highlight video (and then the full video), we were left breathless. It so perfectly captured every moment, which made our wedding the most special day ever... Even though we had over 70 guests and Alwyn was alone, she was able to capture the most special, candid moments. The editing team at Kiss the Bride really heard us regarding our music taste and our editing style. Our wedding clip and movie will be one of the most special things in our lives forever, and we are so grateful to Alwyn and Kiss the Bride for their incredible work. TL;DR - Don't think twice.. watch their wedding highlights on vimeo, cry your eyes out, and hire them for your wedding. It'll be the best, most effortless decision you make! Thank you all!!! Luckily, they were available for our new date. It was a stressful situation but they put our worries at ease. Same with our engagement shoot. We moved this multiple times due to Covid or weather implications and they never once gave us a hard time about it. They're both super responsive and it was so easy working with them. We've gotten the digital version of the photos, the full-length video, and 6-minute highlight video and they came out great. My husband and I don't know a whole lot about photography but we just told them that we don't want any heavy filters (like some of those super Asian wedding photos), and we want it to look natural, and they delivered! The package we bought was extremely reasonable and considerably cheaper than comparable NJ area wedding photographers. It includes photos, 10-hour video package, a canvas, a guestbook, a wedding photobook, engagement shoot, and drone footage. It took about a month for them to get the photos back to us, which I think is pretty good considering some wedding photo horror stories I've read about. There are some shots that were missed (i.e. I didn't get individual photos with my BMs, but my husband got individual shots with his GM), so if there is something you definitely want, be sure to make a shot list. He did get all of the Chinese wedding shots that your family would want, that we would never have thought of, so I was happy about that. As it turned out, we were stressed out for nothing! Astami posed us perfectly. In fact, she even had actual pictures of the poses on hand so we could have a visual example to copy. It was great! It had been a few years since we moved from NYC, so our winter wardrobe was out of date, and we were unsure of a location with a scenic backdrop (especially since the city is constantly changing). Astami gave us wardrobe suggestions and chose a beautiful location that was meaningful to us. The day of our shoot was quite cold. Although we wanted nice pictures, we really didn't want to spend too long out there. Astami was able to capture beautiful moments efficiently. (Our fingers and toes were extremely happy about that.) We put our complete trust in Astami to create beautiful engagement photos for us, and she did not disappoint! We are extremely happy with her work and have already recommended her to many of our friends.
