As a new patient, onboarding was straightforward; I answered all the questions online before my appointment, and also did eCheckin through the MyChart 2 days before. On arrival, everyone is screened in the lobby for Covid. At checkin, I gave my eCheckin printout which appeared to make it simpler for the staff member as she only had a few questions to ask after. My appointment started on time. They checked my vitals, then the NP came in and spent about 20 minutes with me. Since I'm pretty healthy (knock on wood) there wasn't too much to discuss. I very much appreciated the lab person who efficiently got my blood drawn. My tiny veins didn't phase her; she got me on her first try!

They do not answer the phone and they do not return calls if you leave a voicemail. If you happen to get someone to actually answer the phone, you will learn very quickly that you calling is a problem for them and they will then forward you and ask you to leave another voicemail. They do not care and you will actually hear that sentiment in their voice, clearly. It won't matter if you're cordial in every single encounter or how mannerly you behave in general. They simply do not care about resolving even the most simplistic of administrative/insurance issues. You will spend weeks battling and agonizing before you get a return call, if one ever actually does come. His office didn't bill my procedure correctly; they used my member ID but not the correct insurance. So when the anesthesiologist billed my insurance company, said company had no filing about a colonoscopy procedure actually occurring. So my insurance sees only that I had some anesthesiology services on a certain date. That alone is a $600 bill that only $108 of which was covered because there was no procedure tied to it. If my insurance company had received the billing for the actually colonoscopy along with the anesthesiology, all of it would have been covered at 1000%. My procedure was literally 7 months ago and I have fought and battled with Dr Vernon's office/billing staff. I'm now about to have to pay $492 for the anesthesiology or face being sent to collections, all because Dr Vernon's office didn't file with my insurance prior to the anesthesiologist filing. I know I gave him the correct insurance info and the proof is in the fact that the anesthesiologist successfully filed their portion of the claim. I will NEVER return to this office and whenever the subject of gastro issues/routine colonoscopy comes up in conversation, I will do everything I can to warn folks about what they'll likely face should they choose Dr Vernon. I will also be warning my PCP that he is destroying his own credibility with every referral he makes to Dr Vernon.

Dr. Lynch came in the room already seeming angry and committed to misunderstanding me. She got ALL the details I had shared with the nurse WRONG, including medications I was on for the issue and what had worked in the past. When I gently and respectfully tried to correct her, she quickly spoke over me and began to lecture me on how this was an "urgent care for urgent issues" (umm ya pretty sure deep cough, lung pain, and nausea is urgent) and that I just needed to wait and call my ENT or go to the ER. Then when I became frustrated and finally (for once) stood up for myself and told her she wasn't listening to me, she went off about how she was "practicing good American medicine blah blah blah"....I have never been so handily dismissed and it was the only time in my life I have actually walked out of a doctor's appt. It was horrible and I cried the whole way home. She also stated in her notes that she offered me a steroid inhaler which she did NOT. Why lie about that?! My experience was very much like the other negative one written here about her. If you're considering going, I would definitely call ahead and ask which Dr or Physician Assistant is seeing patients that day and go somewhere else if it's her. You'll thank me.

Before being seen by her I was dealing with chronic disease and was doing the run around, my experience with other doctors were awful. She truly cared to keep medical charges as low as possible as I was being treated every month. While treating multiple chronic diseases she was honest that stress was triggering all my issues and recommended I change my environment. It took me some time but as soon as I did all the chronic diseases disappeared. I had been on 4 rounds of antibiotics and so much more medication. It has been 2 months and I'm so grateful for my new health and the honesty, care, support and treatment from Dr. Nguyen and her team. The best of the best. Thank you!
