I had a great time listening to the band and drinking lavender lemonade. They had several craft vendors on site as well as free demonstrations on how to make lavender wreathes. The Clackamas River Basin Council had a nice set up of native plants in a portable display kind of fun to check out, however, the placement was next to face painting so I don't think they got as much foot traffic as they had hoped for. They had plenty of u cut lavender. I'm sure they will continue to have that throughout the season. Check out the scene. It's really nice there.

I was welcomed with the sound of festivities with live bands, drinks, food, various vendors, and u-pick lavenders with a choice of making it into a lavender bouquet or wreath. This place is beautiful and has efficient sprinkler mist system and waterfall ponds for kids to play in, which was perfect for this very warm sunny day. The festival lasts for two days, so this year it was on June 25-26, 2016. The event is free! I was bummed that I forgot to bring a nice camera. Great lavender fields for photography! The scent of lavender everywhere just adds that aromatic touch to the whole experience. *These lavender bushes attract a lot of bees. There will be many bees per lavender bush, but they don't really bother you.

My wife and our 10 year old son went to this farm on Wednesday July 16 to pick blueberry because…read moresome of our friend recommended. When we got there we were greeted by an older gentleman with a white beard. He asked us if we ever been here before and we told him that this was our first time coming here and was recommended by friends. He then asked us to follow him and we walked toward the end of the field to the last 22 rows. He told us that we can pick right here in front of the second row. After picking for 15 minutes we noticed that the berries were small and not as much like the rest of the other rows. We told our son to only pick the big blue berries, he then corrected us right away and said that we had to pick all the blue berries and not only the big ones. Then I noticed that there were 4 other groups (Families) that was on the same roll and side picking next to us that was probably 15 to 20 feet away from us. So we proceeded to move to a couple row in and picked where there were more and bigger. He came over to us right away and told us how come we left and not pick where he left us. I told him that this is U-Pick correct and as long as the field were open I am able to pick in that area at least what I understand how U-Pick works. I then asked him why are people picking here and you want us to pick over there where there were less and smaller berries. I also noticed that the people that he favors or friends and families gets to pick the newer crops and we were picking what they missed or did not picked. My wife got upset and we left the farm. I honestly didn't understand why he was like that cause I read great reviews but we were not about to pick after someone else left overs. I would can tell you that this was the worst experience we ever encounter at a U-Pick place. It's unfortunate and if this was their policies, they need to post this on their FB Market Place or have signs at the entrance. Unfair treatments and practice. Never would come back and would tell everyone to avoid coming here!!!
