I will be recommending Jonathan Austin for years to come. 5/5 stars!!!

The show is a mix of comedy and magic with most of the big tricks at the end of the show. He included many people from the audience and even knew nearly all 20 kids names by the end of the show. We showed up about ten minutes…read morebeforehand and Vanessa and her staff showed us where to setup, let us take a peek around, and made us feel comfortable. The space is awesome. The girls loved picking out a dress and getting their nails and makeup done with real makeup. The princesses are fantastic! Great voices, high quality costumes, wigs, and makeup. We had Elsa and Anna and they had such a cute entrance with so you want to build a snowman and let it go. We even had one girl a little nervous about the idea of a fashion show (which were the princesses twirling them, showing them how to curtesy, and doing a pose of a princess of choice), but they were super accommodating with her too (not everyone loves the stage!). As a parent, it was great because the princesses and staff handled serving the food and cleanup. I think most of the girls were a little star struck and acted shy, but all gushed afterwards about it being so much fun. If we had more kids, I think I would have opted for an extra half hour, but 1.5 hours was perfect for the crowd we had! My recommendation would be to make sure to remind your guests to arrive right on time, especially if you're having a bigger party! It's a well oiled machine, but it works best when on time!

The costumes were cute, decor cute, and concept is wonderful. The makeup room was amazing- but needed to be bigger- because that is where everyone wanted to be. I over all was very pleased head to toe. The only criticism is it needs a fresh paint job throughout and a bigger landing for where the princess ends/kids meet.

The Wagsters are legit. They put on an amazing show - so many effects, and different types of magic, paced well. They were endearing and fun to watch, and frankly, they could've closed the show at intermission, but then they had a whole second act. A good amount of theatrics, balanced with personal stories. Family friendly, with a little spice and flair befitting a grand stage illusion event. This is a top-tier show, a great production, super nice team all around, and probably the best kept secret in Virginia, if not the entire region. if I were their showrunner, I might recommend to pull back just a touch on their personal story woven through the show, but the quality of the show makes this easily forgivable - and hey- it's their story, and they are living their dream. It feels good to help support them while being entertained at such a high level. Overall, the Wagsters are a must see. And a must meet- they are as nice as they are talented.

There were some excellent illusions, but what really made the show was the crowd work and enthusiasm of Brandon and Hannah Wagster. And again, the illusions were excellent. There were several moments my husband and I looked at each other and asked each other how it was even possible to do what they did. They also did a fantastic job of keeping the show entertaining for children and adults alike. Anyway, this is one of those spots that can easily get overlooked among all of the historical sites and things to do in Colonial Williamsburg, but it absolutely deserves a spot on the itinerary. It was fun, surprisingly impressive, and really something different to do on a Saturday evening. I highly recommend checking it out if you're visiting Williamsburg or even if you're a local looking for something different. We had a great time and absolutely look forward to going again next year when we are in VA.

Our initial request for information on availability and options was responded to in no time. Leading up to the event any questions we had were addressed in a timely manner. From the beginning of the performance through the very end Louis the Magician had the kids' (and adults') attention. His routine has the kids engaged, and actively participating throughout. Our normally shy 5-year old birthday girl was super excited to give Louis a hand as his assistant with one of the tricks.
