I wish I would have taken advantage of the yoga classes, but it didn't work out in my schedule. Katie ended up in the birth room with us. However, one…read moreconsistent issue has been long waits in a freezing room, wearing only a sheet, well past my appointment time. This included my most recent annual, where I was told we could do a biopsy, but the doctor arrived 40 minutes late and ultimately said she didn't have time. Unfortunately, the last three months have been truly frustrating. I had a small, persistent irritated spot below my clitoris, and my usual doctor referred me to Dr. Schreiber for biopsy/removal. While Dr. Schreiber was pleasant, she mistakenly removed tissue from the wrong area (labial skin). A simple "Can you confirm this is the correct spot?" before the procedure could have prevented this error. At the stitches removal appointment, she had the nerve to tell me I was wrong and that the spot I'm indicating was just irritation from the stitches below it. She agreed to remove it anyway, but didn't suggest sending it to the lab, even though I'm a recent stage 4 rectal cancer survivor. She was wrong, of course, because I felt more comfortable having just had a part of my body cut off and silver nitrate put on it than I did the entire 3 previous weeks. Over the course of multiple follow-ups and messages, my concerns were continually minimized or dismissed. I saw four different doctors: two brushed it off as inflammation, one worsened the issue by removing additional skin, and another prescribed estrogen cream only after I brought it up--and then ignored my biopsy request. Let's say they never resolved the issue, and I'm being treated by a dermatologist now who actually cares about helping. Adding to the frustration, I can never reach anyone on the phone except scheduling, and that's including the triage nurse.

Went back and stole credit card information and billed it at her leisure. When confronted about this charge Ms D said that they reuse a patients credit card for up to a year. Once verified with an administrator... this is not proper practice. When asked if a bill was sent she said yes via email on 10/27 and did not receive a response so took it upon herself to charge $520.00 UNAUTHORIZED! Has this happened to anyone else? I'm taking further action. It's like going to a restaurant and they pull your card information 8 months later to charge you. Yes ... 8 months later and no bills sent.

Scheduling as been a nightmare. It's next to impossible to get a hold of anyone to schedule an appointment whether by phone, text or email. I felt like every time I had a question or needed to schedule or re-schedule it was so stressful to get anyone. We tried on more than one occasion to get this us done and thanks to little help and poor customer service we received it never happened. Thankfully groupon offered a full refund because it was the business owner's fault we were unable to get in when we needed to. Even with their super discounts and constant specials online I would tell anyone I know it's not worth the stress, headache or dealing with the business owner here. When I called to reschedule our last appointment and actually got a hold of her I got to hear how people were giving her bad reviews online and it was hurting her feelings, I understand why they were giving bad reviews, customer service is something this place has never heard of.

Once I went to labor and delivery I had awesome nurses who answered all my questions and made my stay comfortable and relaxing from start to finish . The nurse who helped me deliver Ms. Agnus was the best nurse I could ever ask for . She has YEARS of experience and coached me through my vaginal delivery with the most support and love ! She made me feel strong and empowered and helped include my boyfriend in every step of the process. The rooms for labor and delivery were spacious and nice . The postpartum rooms are small but we still had a great experience there as well especially with nurse Heather who was very encouraging during my breastfeeding and very personable!!! I would highly recommend Duke birthing center and prenatal care to anyone !

Being a new mom, I appreciated them teaching me baby CPR, how to give baths with the umbilical stump still attached, and helping me with feedings. We had 2 nurses that stood out. Rachel made sure to constantly keep me updated on my baby's condition She didn't make me feel like any of my questions were dumb. She once even came back in during her lunch break to make sure I was ok. Renne was a ray of sunshine. She came in every few hours with a very positive attitude. She made jokes and would even sing a little. So why not 5 stars? Well... My epidural wore off and I kept bringing it up to a nurse and she blew it off. She said no one was available to refill the medicine. It took my bf literally screaming for anything to be done. Next, the guy who did my epidural the first time didn't realize I had scoliosis and put it in wrong so I had to have it done again. Much like the other reviews, the post-partum rooms were HORRIBLE! There was a small little love seat they expected my 6-foot tall boyfriend to sleep on. The tv only had volume through the remote like you would probably see at a nursing home. I kept hearing the person in the room next to me coughing which worried me. (People who are staying in the rooms don't have to get tested for covid only the mom does which is BS. I had a family member who flew in that day. She doesn't even live in this state, stayed with me, and didn't have to get tested) I also got no sleep. Between the nurses coming in all the time and the damn helicopter landing and shaking my room.
