I gave it two stars because their customer service has always been wonderful. Now onto my issues…read more I started banking here as an adult since when I lived here as a teen, it was the bank I used. The one thing that absolutely enrages me, is that there is always some loophole as to why these banks can charge you $33-$99 in overdraft fees EVEN THOUGH the reason the account was overdrawn was due to the current balance displaying the incorrect/ not updated amount. Transactions on their debit card will pend for days. Any kind of membership, subscription, or payment plan will come off the card even if you don't have the funds. I've been put almost -$200 by this bank when bills came out, I had the money but they didn't approve the transactions within 48 hours and I spent my current balance on food to then be notified that money was supposed to go to pending transactions. My other debit card does not do this. It updates on the same day and my current balance always takes into account the pending transactions. First National DOES NOT.

Every time I do, there is a short line that moves quickly. The customer service is always great, they are always able to fulfill every request! I often call in advance, to make sure I can get what I need, and it is easy to get a hold of a representative over the phone as well. The inside of this location is nice and quiet, and professional. There are bathrooms, which are kept clean. Overall, I've had a great experience banking here, and have you even found the best rate for my mortgage a few years ago! Highly recommend banking with NFCU.

It was difficult to leave them but times change, business changes and relationships change. I wish that I made this change a longtime ago. I love that it's a local bank, that they have dog treats in the drive through, helpful customer service to name just a few things. And the First Fridays they have! Getting to try local companies and get free treats, what could be better?! The only things we wish would be better are some of the online banking aspects. It would be nice to have instant deposit capabilities, between bank transfer amounts aren't visible right away, and locations further west than 72nd street.

One would…read morethink a huge bank conglomerate like JP Morgan Chase would have branches all over the United States. Discovered two years ago that wasn't true and there wasn't a single Chase bank in the entire state of Nebraska. WTH! Last year, they opened a branch in Lincoln. Omaha lacked a Chase until now. I was in the area to grab lunch at the Inner Rail Food Hall and saw the newly opened Chase branch. It opened two months ago so everything is still shiny and new. No inside photos because when I walked in I was the only customer and led directly to the teller window so I couldn't discretely take photos. There's an ATM to the right upon entry. This area is large and spacious so you can easily social distance while waiting your turn to withdraw money. You have to go through another set of doors to get into the bank. It's a decent sized location. Teller windows are enclosed behind plexiglass. There are separate rooms to handle other matters, assuming CPC (Chase Private Client), loans, investments, etc. A few chairs in the middle of the branch aka lobby. Employees are super friendly and helpful. Plenty of free parking in the area both in front, on the side, across the street from the bank, and in the parking garage a short walk away.

Chase seems to do everything it can to avoid letting customers talk to actual people. I tried several times to get through to a person at this branch but was completely blocked. The final voice said they were sorry but everyone was helping someone and call back later or call this 800 number which was said too fast to memorize. I had a simple question that someone at the branch could have answered. Instead I got the recorded voice runaround. Now I will have to drive there to get a person to answer my question. Bad customer service, Chase .

I don't want any of that from my bank, so my wife did some searching and found Access Bank. We were asked to make an appointment to open our account - that kind of puzzled me but I now know that's part of the bank's personal attention. Jordan explained that ensured we would have a relaxed opportunity to get to learn about each other without interruption. I was expecting to spend about ten minutes to open an account - it was closer to an hour but we were in NO rush to leave! It was just an amazing introduction to a local bank and personal attention neither of us have seen in a long, long time. Beautiful offices and a very welcoming lobby with refreshments while there. We started an account just to have someplace in Omaha to turn in our change, but I expect we're going to be shifting more and more of our banking needs to Access.
