Staff good. Nice atmosphere, convenient location. Food, meh. Went in before the dinner rush and ordered nigiri. The rice was cold and hard, as if it had just come out of a refrigerator. The gyoza came with sweet & sour sauce instead of gyoza sauce, which I found odd, but I'm not very familiar with what Dane-ified Japanese food generally entails.
The serving "plates" are large, heavy stone slabs. They took up almost all the space on my table leaving little room for cutlery or drinks. They were so heavy that my server had trouble carrying them and setting them down. Once on my table, I could barely move/adjust them. Whoever chose these "plates" has never worked in a restaurant or had to run food. They are an absurd choice and where they are supposed to add to the ambience and decor, they only create awkwardness and give you a sense that management is trying to compensate for something with this gawky gimmick.
Please get normal plates appropriate to the scale of your tables. It would add to the professionalism of the restaurant and save your employees' wrists! read more
