I made the mistake of getting my hair cut and styled on a cruise ship. At an exorbitant cost at that! After a few days, I took scissors to it to try to fix the sides and my hair was a mess. I called this UltraCuts shop. I had been there years before with another stylist. I let the receptionist know that I had a bad haircut and then I tried to fix it myself and I needed somebody who could cut short hair on women. She's suggested I come in and have Danilo cut my hair. I just walked out and my hair is amazing! They listened to what I wanted and came up with a few pictures that I agreed to and it's perfect. Forever fan and will be back for cutting color next month. This place is ridiculous. My adult daughter and her 11-year-old sister went in to get their ends trimmed. My 11-year old asked for curtain bangs. The stylist refused to cut bangs because she said they wouldn't look good on my daughter. So she trimmed her ends only. For the two of them to get their hair washed and ends trimmed it was $80! Forget that it is over-priced. The issue is that this place is a hair salon, not Dear Abby. I don't care what she thinks will look good or bad. The stylist is paid to cut hair, not decide what hairstyle she wants to give a client. Don't waste your money. read more

I got my first perm today and was highly satisfied with my results. If you're looking for a hair cut like GreatClips but cleaner and not as cheesy this one is just for you. Men's cut at $17 woman's at about $20. Not flooded with products and they always do a dry cut. Very limited number of sinks if you actually want to be washed. Both my girlfriend and I got cuts. It was quick. Though the stylist started giving the girlfriend into a panic with her personality/attitude. The stylist was fairly nice but extremely straight to the point with as few as three questions. When I asked for a fade I got a tight shave all the way up. Over all she took off more than asked and when I indicated that I wanted a 4 shave. She said we could go even shorter. And just proceeded. We came in on a Monday around three it's fairly dead. And the floor is well swept. But only three stylists have their certifications on display. read more

With 15 years of experience under her belt, she not only has great experience, she's super confident in her abilities to do a great job and make you happy with your new cut. I like that in a hairdresser! I came in wanting a drastic change with cutting off a lot of hair (you could even be like me and cut most your hair off at home to give her more of a challenge). I showed her a picture of what I wanted, and she transformed from shoulder-length hair to a wonderful pixie cut! It looks exactly how I wanted it! Today I went in for a haircut and they pulled a new stylist Jennifer Shannon to cut my hair since no else was available. Stay away from her, she rushed and seemed like she didn't want to be there. I got my haircut here a few weeks ago as a walk-in. I told the stylist that I donate my hair every 2 years so I didn't want a drastic change but she can take off what she needed to- also that I wanted bangs. She did even out my hair but in such a way that I actually hate it. I love big, volumonus hair and and now my hair just lays flat. I really do love donating my hair but I also love looking and feeling good in-between donations. Lastly, she forgot my request for bangs so I had to remind her as she was about to take the cape off me. Overall I am underwhelmed but the prices are fair so if you are able to find a stylist here you really like then you're golden. As for me, I don't think I'm be returning. read more

They did those little extra things to include you as if you were family and in return you were loyal to thier excellent services and genuine customer service. I have known Eric and Heidi for what seems like forever and they make you feel welcome, appreciated, and like a family member with every salon visit. The staff that they have chosen to surround themselves feel and execute in the same friendly professional manner. No fluff, no hype, no smoke and mirrors. Just a stylish an reasonably priced hair style. And just like times far past, you'll know the name of your stylist(barber back then) and they will know your name and make sure that you know how much they appreciate your business and insure that you love what they have done with your hair. I like this place. But, women with short hair - be careful about your stylist here!! I hate to say this because I have been coming to this place for four years, have had a different stylist almost every time and have never had a problem. Yesterday though, maaybe the worst haircut experience of my life. My stylist was Rosalba. She obviously hated every second of cutting my hair. She was jerking my head around, not talking to me except to ask me why I had short hair and to say how bad my previous hair cut was, kept saying she didn't know what I wanted even though I showed her a picture of an old haircut I had. At one point during the haircut she just left for like ten minutes? Long story short even though I asked for a pixie I ended up with basically a men's military style crew cut (the first thing she did was go in with a buzzer!), but even that was uneven and she didn't cut the hair on the back of my next. I didn't ask her to fix it because at that point I wanted to get the heck out of there with whatever hair I had left. Maybe she was having a really bad day, or just hates women with short hair, or assumed I was gay and was being homophobic. Either way it was just the worst. So if you are a woman with short hair, maybe ask first if your stylist has experience with short hair cuts. Otherwise this place has been really good for me and the other stylists have been great. read more

Went here a few weeks back thinking that I could find a less expensive hair stylist than my regular person. I did, however, you get what you pay for. I asked beforehand for someone experienced with fine, stick straight hair and I was recommended to someone who.....to be nice here......did not and could not work with my hair. She trimmed one section of my hair and for whatever reason left everything else. Then she gave me highlights and when she added toner, what an awful look it was. Why did she add toner???? And why didn't she trim my whole head???? Who knows but after an hour and a half and mind you I have short hair, I just wanted out. Yes it was less expensive but I will NEVER return there. I went back to my regular person admitting my "cheating" and what an AWESOME job she did. I love my regular hair stylists. She KNOWS what she's doing! read more
