John was great! And he was able to do all the little side jobs that ended up being necessary to get the new electric range and hood installed where the gas range had been. He didn't just throw it in and move on though, he took his time and had an amazing attention to detail that ensured that all the sketchy parts of the install ended up just right, and the end result could not have looked more PERFECT! We are so happy with the quality of the job after he was done. Not just that but John was as chatty as me and we talked about all sorts of stuff, and I really appreciate who John is as a person and his character and we felt comfortable with him in our home. It was all smashed and caved in and the rollers popped off. I was lucky it didn't fall on my car. I did manage to mostly close it, but I thought it was totally ruined and unfixable. The next morning, in -20 degree weather I called the two main places in town, one of them being door systems, and ended up having the most awesome conversation with Bob, who is amazing and helped me so much. I paid for emergency service instead of waiting till the next week for service, and they had a guy there in ONE HOUR!! And then, to my amazement, the tech that came transformed my smashed and non working door back into a fully functional, nearly normal looking garage door again! You can hardly tell it was smashed and bent previously! Obviously it has some dents and marks and to be perfect again two of the panels need to be replaced, but damn! You have to look hard at the door to see that! I'd almost just leave it be and not spend the money to completely fix it! It's that good. I'm impressed. Anyway, I'll probably get it fully fixed, but I just have to say I am very impressed with door systems, Bob, and the guy who came and fixed my door. And all this for only $165!! I was extremely grateful to discover that I qualified for a VA program that would allow me to get split heating/cooling units in my home to improve my quality of life. AMP ONE initially seemed like a good company and was willing to work with my situation and the VA. Fast forward 9 months of me playing project manager with the VA and AMP ONE, I finally got us to the finish line and all Nick had to do was fill out basic paperwork, which myself and the VA regional manager offered to help him with. After I contacted him about missing signatures and information on the paperwork I was told via email, "I am over this get someone else". I offered again to help with the paperwork in hopes that he would reconsider so I can spend summers pain free and improve my quality of life. The response I got was, "I wouldn't worry about it I'm kinda over it. You might want to find someone else. It seems too much trouble". If it is too much to ask you to take the few hours out of your life to help someone be able to spend more time with their family that they missed over years because, "I've got about 8 other jobs... and I don't have to do a 10th of this." than good on you. If anyone knows a true Veteran friendly AC business and one that just does not give lip service, please let me know.

He said he'd come over and he did! He was very knowledgeable about what was going on and kept us informed! He got a new pump placed but there were more issues. It was midnight at this point. So he was back on the job early the next morning. In all he worked on each issue from Monday to Wednesday . He was expedient. He was informative. He was there at the house when he said he'd be. He got the job done by Wednesday. There was other things not working and had difficulties getting to the pump but he did and he fixed everything! He is not a leave you hanging kind of person. He professionally and efficiently got the whole issue taken care. His costs were very reasonable given everything he did! We'd hire him again in a hot second and will if we need any other plumbing issue fixed! Definitely give him a call. He'll do his best to get the job done.
