So far we have met for about five hours by phone when the need arises, and Anne has always been available, even on a short notice. I instantly "connected" with her not only because of her experience with government, but also because of her easy-going yet direct and very supportive style. Before working with Anne, I felt alone and tended to complicate things too much, which led to confusion and anxiety about what to do about a particular situation or choice I had to make. As an example, Anne helped me prepare for a workshop with government executives that I felt would 'make or break' my future work with staff of this particular agency. She talked me through my objective and that of my client, my fears, and together we designed a 30-minute talk. She even graciously offered ideas and templates from past workshops of her own, and readily shared her experiences with me. Also, the CPA made a mistake on my taxes by not including two stocks I had sold. If I hadn't caught the mistake myself, it would have cost me a few hundred dollars. When I pointed out the mistake, the CPA kind of blew it off and said "I didn't notice the information for the stocks". When I called the firm to complain about the poor service I received, my complaint was handled in an unprofessional manner. Overall, I feel like I wasted my money and didn't receive any value.
