They agreed to fix a leak in a porch roof, with a $250 minimum. Two men arrived and put a line of caulk along the flashing, and said doing more would cost more. The company gave me several options, from $4-16,000 to repair some damaged trim at other places on our house. They did not mention the roof leak. Of course I said no, but I was still liable for the $250, for recaulking the flashing on a small, low roof. The roof still leaked, but not as much. Hoskins Construction fixed the leak and the trim for 2,500. read more

Be prepared for these guys not to show up when you make an appointment with them. We had an appointment for them to look at our roof. They did not show up, did not call to cancel and never returned our calls afterwards. A huge waste of our time. read more

We were told it would be a few weeks for the workers to put the roof on. It ended up being over a 6 weeks. Once the workers showed up they did not have the wood to repair the bad spot which was included in the price. We had to play sherads to communicate with the workers no one was bilingual. After the job was done they left their trash and construction debris on the walkway which I had to move to access the front door. Per the contract all debris would be removed within three days. Five days later I had to tell them to come get it or I would take it to the dump myself and charge them for it. In the same conversation I explained to the secretary that they never installed the snow guards and chimney boot. The workers came that day picked up the debris and installed the snow gaurd, but not the chimney boot. The boot is still on the front porch. I also found wood and shingles and a plastic bag in the gutter which I had to clean out. I called them again to tell them about the chimney boot and the debris in the gutter. I was met with I'll have Tony call you right away. I never heard from him. Two weeks later I call again this time I'll have Jeremy call right away, still nothing. I did get an email wanting the balance though. So today June 10 2024 I call yet again I was told that they have been trying to call me I was in the middle of asking the secretary what number they had for me when she hung up on me to transfer me to Jeremy's phone. I got his voice mail with a full mailbox so I could not leave a message. A few minutes later I got a text from I am assuming was Jeremy that he was in a meeting and he'll call me in an hour. That was at 8.30am it is now 1205 pm. I am done with these people they will not receive the balance. The job is not finished, they breached the contract with the debris by the front door, and I had to clean the debris out of the gutter. I guess this is what 13 thousand dollars will get you with this company. read more

Just want to put out there BEWARE of this company!!! Tony comes off very personable at first meeting. Long wait before they got started...should have and wish we just got our down payment back and went with another company! Sticking with them was worst mistake ever...gutters, leaf guard, all hung wrong...leaf guard behind the gutter...pulled the drip edge up and ruined the new roof we paid them good money to put on, and he lies saying he will be out to address the issue...does not happen, and now after getting 3 different estimates to fix all their wrongs, Tony says, "Take me to court!" The brochure that was provided shows extreme attention to detail The conversation with the sales representative was also professional . He stated the job would start in four weeks. We discussed that there would be a very timely notification of when the materials and job to do a complete roof replacement. i asked as the time was now six weeks later and the temperature was getting cold to delay until spring with a phone call. I was told that was not a problem and would be rescheduled. Four days later the materials were delivered and was notified that the replacement would start in the next two days as the weather was still acceptable to do the roof. The contractors showed up without any notice and replaced the roof and left without checking for our satisfaction. I called and gave them the complaints that I have. they once again showed up without any notice did some of the repairs and left again without checking for satisfaction. They are supposed to be back and do what else is left to do. The appearance is not what was portrayed in the brochures. on a good note the roof doesn't leak yet. This contractor was recommended to me by a friend however I cannot recommend this contractor. read more
