Good food, great service, reasonable prices. We're looking forward to exploring more from the menu the next time we are in town!

Our friends had been raving about this restaurant for years when we finally decided to drive the 90…read moreminutes to see what all the fuss was about. We should have stayed home. We walked in and asked to sit outside. I feel like this really upset the hostess because I heard a sigh and saw an eye roll. She said the table had to be cleaned. That's fine, we were happy to wait for what we anticipated would be a delicious meal. We waited 30 minutes for someone to wipe the table. Finally, another customer told the hostess that there were two clean tables and they were seated. We were then seated and were thankful the other couple noticed the availability. It's beautiful on the river! The bartender was also the server and she seemed frazzled and abrupt. We ordered quickly and the food didn't take too long to arrive, but it wasn't terribly hot. We had to ask for hot sauce twice. She forgot one of our sides and when we told her she loudly told a coworker that she had to go inside for grits. She seemed frustrated. The iced tea tasted like some kind of slightly flavored water. There was nothing extraordinary about the food. I've never seen grease under fried clams, but the grease was pooling under the entree. The greens tasted like they were from a can with no seasoning at all; hence the need for the hot sauce! The okra and tomatoes were also very bland, not unlike hospital food. We did like the coleslaw and the hush puppies. We told our friends that Corky Bell's was as awesome as they described (Lord forgive the lie), but we won't be back.

Excellent service, very nice upper deck outside with ocean views and the best corned beef hash…read moreever! It was a rainy Thursday morning 10:30am. Not many people out n about so I couldn't really get a vibe for what the place would be like when it gets busy. But it was a great spot for breakfast and we sat on the rooftop area inside so it was covered from the rain, but I can't wait to go back someday for the outside ocean front deck, even closer to the water. I ordered the Irish Benedicte with hash that is homemade on premise with slow roasted corned beef. Very tasty. The side of Home fries were thinly sliced and I had gravy added to that so it was tasty too. Our server was excellent, Trevor was a very nice guy and he recommended we come back for the all you can eat ribs. I wish I was staying in town longer and I would. I'll make a point to come back next visit.

The bruschetta was very good. My husband enjoyed his fish sandwich. The manager killed a huge beetle that was on the ceiling. Just glad it didn't take flight. The manager took our 2 dishes off of our bill. What's outrageous is that they charge a 2.9% service fee when using a credit/debit card. That's not posted anywhere. Our server,Sage, she was sweet. Will we go back? Definitely no. Too many other places to try.

Lovely Easter Brunch on the Patio…read more We came here for Easter brunch and had a really nice experience. I called about 45 minutes before arriving just to see if there was any chance we could get a table. They mentioned they were only taking reservations that day but were kind enough to squeeze us in for 1:30, which worked out perfectly. Raven was our waitress and she was wonderful. Super welcoming, friendly, and attentive the whole time without ever feeling overbearing. My husband and I shared a Caesar salad and the steak and eggs, and of course we had to order mimosas (two each... because brunch ). Everything came out fresh and tasty. One small personal preference, and this might just be me, but I would have liked the Caesar salad lettuce to be chopped a bit smaller instead of the larger pieces. Not a deal breaker at all, just something I noticed. The steak was cooked well. I wouldn't say it was the best steak I've ever had, but it was definitely good. What really stole the show for me was the chimichurri sauce. I could honestly eat that by itself with the potatoes, it was that good. We sat on the patio and were a little worried it might be too hot, but it was nicely shaded and they have fans going, so it was actually very comfortable. The only time we got a little warm was after our second mimosa... but that might be on us Overall, it was a great experience and we'll definitely be back.

On Saturday's, they do a bottle of champagne for $20 and it wasn't the cheapest stuff in town! Our server was amazingly helpful, gave great recommendations and helped make our visit special. Everything is true farm to table so the menu rotates. But the dishes we had were divine. We split the savory crepe that was an egg crepe with mash potatoes, sausage and a sage brown butter sauce. Other item split were the haute pocket and steak flatbread. You can tell a lot of thought is put into the menu items and blending of flavors. We for sure will return!
