It was important to me and my husband that our MC was not a goofy 90's hype man. Bryan was so cool and really worked to figure out exactly what we wanted. Everyone's taste in music is different and he did the greatest job getting to know us to find out what we liked and then our guests as well. He kept us smiling and laughing! He was clear with announcements, kept our entire party on the dance floor all night, and wasn't cheesy or over the top. We rented the mirror photo booth which was a big hit. We got a book of photos at the end of the night that are truly priceless! Bryan made the planning process fun and easy and helped to keep our event running smoothly. I would choose them again and again. Oh! And we also hired a piano player for our ceremony and cocktail hour who was so talented. We put together a playlist of our favorite songs and he played every single song masterfully. We have some friends who are musicians who were so impressed! Beyoncé to Queen, every song was awesome! Our wedding at the Metropolitan Club in NYC on May 18, 2024 was an absolute DREAM, and we would recommend Bud and his team in a heartbeat again and again and AGAIN. From the moment we met Bud on Zoom and then when we saw Bud and his band live, I knew Bud's group was the one for my husband's and my special day!! Bud was an absolute joy to work with; he was extremely responsive, professional, and friendly. He is a master of his craft and exceptionally knowledgeable, yet is extremely approachable and has a wonderful sense of humor, which is always welcome during the wedding planning journey! When Bud referenced notes from our very first conversation a year and a half later (just a little under a month from our wedding), I was beyond impressed and truly touched. My husband and I and everyone there had an absolute BLAST dancing and jumping up and down to "Mr. Brightside." And seeing my husband and his mom dance to "I'm a Better Man for Having Loved You" was so precious. And to see and hear Bud on the sax was the absolute icing on the cake!!! Bud was also an AMAZING EMCEE - he announced our dances and the toasts/speeches with full energy that could be felt all over!! The dinner music was absolutely fabulous as well, and Bud and his band even figured out just the right time to play "Somewhere Over the Rainbow," which was a request from my MIL to honor her daughter who passed away a few years ago. Bud and his team listened to every word we said, took it very seriously, and found the perfect times to play our requests. We also provided a "Do Not Play List," which Bud and his team took very seriously as well (while reassuring us that they don't play those songs at weddings anyway.) And oh my gosh, I was obsessed with the outfits Bud and his group wore! The sparkles! The sunglasses! The black and white outfits! Absolutely magnificent!!! Best band for the best value, I cannot emphasize this enough. We added the trumpet, 2nd female vocalist, trombone, and percussion, and every single member of the group was absolutely phenomenal. The live DJ and sound engineer with mics for speeches are also included at no extra charge. Bud and his band are top-notch and total class acts. Bud, thank you for everything!!!! This band performed hits from the 80s, 90s, 2000s, and now. If I was to summarize this type of playlist the band was performing, I would say "Hot Adult Contemporary". As soon as the attendees rolled into the event tent, the band started rocking away. They played a mixture of rock and pop hits throughout the entire event duration. That gave everyone the chance to view, listen, and even sing a long to their performances. What a way to bring great people together, Ed Z! The band was rocking so loud that we could even hear them outside when my friends and I went to the pumpkin patch and house to snap some photos. The original plan was for them to perform outside. But because of the rain, they had to perform inside. This weather-related change didn't hurt their spirit at all. In fact, they performed without even caring about the rain. This band no doubt has an edge over some of the other bands whom I encountered on my previous 25th cruise, which is based on their performance qualities and professionalism. Based on how they performed, it was quite easy for me to see and hear why they are always booked and only have a very limited amount of time for public events. For this case, the General Yelp Event was a private one. Overall, this is an excellent cover band, and probably the best one that I have ever heard. If you can catch them at a public event, then I recommend doing so. I also recommend booking them if you can.

Nick not only gave me the tools necessary to perform well behind the microphone, but he prepared for me for the various ins and outs of the industry that have helped me avoid making choices that would put me at a disadvantage compared to other voice actors at the beginner level. After a few months of training, I was able to reach a level that allowed me to create a competitive voice demo in English and Spanish that Nick also produced and directed. Every part of our experience with Dare was exceptional, from selecting the right package, to curating the perfect playlist (from traditional hora music to pop), seamlessly setting up in the two (very separate) outdoor spaces, professionally mitigating a slight timing issue in our schedule with fill-in music, and even making sure we had a bubble machine at the right moment. The only complaint I've heard about the music at our wedding is that everyone wishes the venue let us dance for another hour. I've seen them DJ at parties, bars, and now at our wedding, and now I'm looking for reasons to plan another party just to get that extra hour of dancing and an excuse to have him bring the photobooth.
