I had Star Wars characters scheduled from 430-6 and wanted all attention to be on the characters. So the plan was to have the face painter and balloon artist gone by then. The face painter called me about 40 mins before 3 and said she would be about 15 mins late. Okay, no big deal, I appreciated the heads up. When she arrived I thought maybe the balloon artist would be with her because the balloon artist hadn't showed up and I hadn't heard from her and it was already about 315. The face painter told me she would call the balloon artist and find out what was going on. About 10 mins later the face painter told me that the balloon artist got the time wrong and thought she was supposed to be there at 4 instead of 3. At this point I'm a little frustrated because I know the balloon artist time is now going to cut into the Star Wars characters time, but I'm informed by the face painter that the balloon artist lives not too far and can be there by 4 if not a little sooner. Fast forward to 445 and A balloon artist finally shows up. I'm told by the face painter that this is not the original balloon artist and that she's not sure what's going on, she has tried calling Cynnamon and that she can't get a hold of her that her phone is going straight to voicemail. Then come to Find out the balloon artist only speaks Spanish and so the kids can't even communicate with the balloon artist to tell them what they want. My wife, who speaks Spanish, had to translate to the balloon artist for some of the kids and I'm not sure who else helped but at this point, I'm furious. So I text cynnamon and tell her that I don't feel like I should pay for this balloon artist because he's an hour and 45 mins late, he's cut into my Star Wars characters time which I paid a lot of money for, he can't even communicate with the kids, and to top it off his balloon artistry wasn't that good. I get no response from cynnamon. So fast forward to the time when the balloon artist is done and my wife tells me he's asking to get paid, and I was dead set on not paying him, but my wife felt bad for the guy because he wasn't originally supposed to be there and got thrown into all this, so I ended up paying the guy. I finally hear back from cynnamon about an hour and a half after the party is over in a text which is pasted below. You can read it for yourself. She proceeds to tell me that she can give me $50 off but I should still pay at least $100. Well I already paid the full 150 by that time. So after all that she can only offer $50 refund. What she should do is pay the guy from the $200 deposit that I had already paid if she was concerned about him getting paid and wasting his gas and time and refunded me. Also there was no communication with me whatsoever, in her text she says a story about some mixup and the original balloon artists husband saving the day. I should have been contacted by someone and asked if I still wanted a balloon artist to show up almost 2 hours late. I would have just told them not to worry about it at that point. And then cynnamon proceeds to try to tell me that my party was saved because someone still showed up and that the flow was good because kids could get in line for the balloon artist and the characters. Don't try to gaslight me and tell me how you think this all worked out because of whatever mishaps happened. The flow didn't go how I wanted. I wanted the kids full attention on the Star Wars characters, not split between them and the balloon artist. Cynnamon should learn how to make things right when things go bad. Once again if I was contacted at all, I would have said just save the time of the balloon artist and refund my money for him. The only bright side is Senaida the face painter was amazing. It's too bad, I wouldn't book this company again. If you do book a face painter ask for Senaida. But just be aware the customer service of cynnamon is horrible and communication the day of the party is none existent.

I really don't like write negative reviews, but I couldn't have had worse experience with this…read morecompany. To put it frankly, they are unprofessional. We picked up their business card a friend's birthday party, the business card doesn't have a phone number only an email address. After multiple emails to book their services, without reply I finally found their social media marketing page where I sent a message trying to book their services. I shouldn't be surprised that they never got back to me. Everything about their website says for all inquiries to go through email. Finally I was able to dig and found a phone number listed for them. After multiple calls, without answers, I would get text messages back saying to text them my party info and they would get back to me. They never got back to me. I kept having to call over and over again, and send text after text, over and over just to get a response. This was all over an extensive period of time, mind you. If the answer was no, that was perfectly ok, but they should get back to their customers. It's unprofessional and frankly rude. I finally got an answer from them at 10:30pm at night, through text saying they were unavailable. Again, unprofessional. I'm really surprised with the good reviews on here, because no matter what I did, I couldn't get a hold of them or get them to respond. But I do see some reviews here with people saying they went through the same issues. That wasn't my experience at all, so I guess you gotta hope you get lucky with them. Now it's really close to the date for my daughter's party and there's really no other options as things are booked. Do yourself a favor and avoid disappointing your kid, and going through what feels like a "wild goose chase" with this company. I've never had to work so hard before, to give someone money.

The communication was great at the beginning. We booked two people, one entertainer and one balloon…read moreartist. I received a few different calls to confirm the party so everything seemed on track. On the day of the party, the balloon artist showed up without the character. Our character made a mistake and had her parties mixed up so she was over an hour late. The balloon artist kind of just walked around and made balloon animals for the kids but it was awkward with no character. Since our character was so late, some kids had to leave when she was just arriving. We were building up the anticipation but by then we discovered it would be well over another hour, so the kids got in the pool instead and were well into playing and not really into the entertaining by the time the character did arrive. Overall the character was great once the kids heard her singing. Balloon artist was kind of a waste of money since it was a little awkward having someone walk around making balloons without the entertainer. Kind of a bummer it played out that way. Mistakes do happen but no one even reached out to explain anything, I just received an invoice to pay with a slight discount which I still paid.
