Yes. I am a fan of this place. Everyone here has always been helpful and nice. I am always greeted the second I walk in the front door. A lot of the time I don't go much further than that because I use Bare Minerals and it's right up front. However, I do get an eyebrow wax here from time to time. I'd say that the waxes can be hit or miss for me, I've been satisfied with the majority of them but that's basically how it is every where I have ever gone so I really can't complain. The salon staff is also helpful, patient and always talkative! The rest of the store is well stocked and clean. I've never had an issue with them not having what I need and if I can't find something staff is always eager to help. I also love that they have a lot of clearance areas where you can get some good steals on nail polish, etc. If you're looking for beauty supplies, I don't see any reason to look much further than here. As far as the salon goes I wouldn't come here for a hair cut or probably nails but I am uber nuts when it comes to who cuts my hair. A simple wax though to me is nothing they can't handle! read more

I bought a product from them and it broke like two days later so I got to use it like two times it was a half lip gloss half lip stain. I didn't know I had to bring the product back to be able to get a return or refund because it broke when I was at work. obviously I just took some pictures of it and then immediately threw it away and got back to working and I went in with the pictures. They were absolutely no help. And then I went back in a couple weeks later just to get Guests services number because I want my money back obviously makeup is not cheap these days and guest service did absolutely nothing for me. The person on the phone was rude. And basically told me it was up to the store if they want to give me a refund or not and the store is telling me it's up to guest services to help me and they're both just not being helpful and this will most likely be my last time shopping at Ulta because I already don't shop there a lot and I'm getting new into buying makeup which again is expensive and is only getting higher and now I'm out of a product that was like $30 that I got to use twice and they're doing absolutely nothing not even credit on my account or anything. absolute BS and talking in circles was basically all I got from the store and the very disappointed. read more

I recently shopped at the 41st and Yale location, I was browsing for travel size items to take on vacation. I was followed around the store by an employee, she obviously thought I was shop lifting, I get it people are do this, However when you are an honest person and shop Ulta often, It makes for a bad experience. Furthermore as I approach the counter I hear said person who was trailing me around the store ask the girl at the counter who was checking my out, If I had all the items in my hand on the counter purchased. I've sent many surveys in regarding the poor and racist service that I've received at this Ulta. Even going so far as to having a police officer follow me while I shopped, despite having never stolen from this store or any other store for that matter. They are blatantly racist, in addition to giving poor customer service. Due to the poor interactions I've had, I began doing online pick ups to prevent in store harassment and embarrassment from their staff. My last two pick ups have been utterly atrocious due to them giving me OPENED and USED products! How much worse could it possibly get? I'm starting to think ULTA doesn't want women of color shopping at their store altogether and that's DEEEEPLY shameful. I have photographic evidence of both products. I really like the store, but some of the people treat you like you're going to steal something. I have never stolen anything since I was a very small child. That was an accident as I walked out of the store, the pack of gum and my mother immediately made me go back in and pay for it. I would give it five stars if I was not followed around by the employees thinking I was going to steal something and I'm older, so it made no sense. I love ulta because you can get everything you need beauty wise in one place! It's a one stop shop! I had my hair done by Liz and she did a great job! The blonde turned out beautiful in my dark brown hair! She is my go to hair stylist for a bayalage! The best thing about the Tulsa hills location is that they are the only location in Tulsa with a spa room! The esthetician here is great and knowledge and gives such a relaxing facial! This store has by far, the worst Ulta experience. They're always running low in stock and the customer service here is inexistent. Whoever is the store manager needs to be retrained on how to provide customers a better experience. Best location in Tulsa! They're a bit smaller than some of the other Tulsa locations, but the staff is fantastic and more than make up for it. I rarely have to wait long in line and they always help if I can't find something. They also make returns and exchanges a breeze because they can look up all your purchases through your account. A stylist at Tulsa Hills did this to my hair and then accepted an over 100% tip knowing that I could not see what she had done in the mirror while I was in the salon. I have to go somewhere else to have it fixed and bleached to blend the bald spots. The girl accepted my tip after falsely representing her work. She is a thief. She kept it and let me leave the store TWICE knowing that's what my hair looked like and I could not see it at the time. She didn't fess up, ask for help or send me to a more experienced stylist when she realized things weren't turning out right either. There is no way she did not notice. Your company has been less than empathetic or helpful. I spent over $100 in your store that day and ended up with $36 dollars back and it looks like I am going bald. Absolutely unacceptable. I want my tip back. I have been hung up on by a corporate agent and pushed off by another even though I was polite because they had no solution. I spoke to one manager yesterday who told me not to expect to hear back about a resolution for at least 24 hours. AT LEAST? I am an ADULT PROFESSIONAL and I have to wear this hair that I paid for with my hard earned adult money for how long? You should be falling all over yourself to book me in right now and have someone work overtime. I talked to you at 5:30pm on a SATURDAY for crying out loud. No one could stay a little late to make this right? My one centimeter long hair would take too long? Your next answer is to get me in with the best stylist it will be about 5 days. 5 days?? Look, this is not just some laugh it off bad high school memory. While I appreciate the manager Sunday that felt like there was nothing else that she could do but offer me some other service, I would have to be absolutely insane to allow anyone in that store to touch my hair again. I have no trust. What if they burn off my hair with bleach? I won't be compensated. Corporate won't care. They don't care now. No one has thus far. I will not be back in any Ulta store. Especially this one. I have a gift card to your store that I will give to someone else because the thought of stepping foot in your store literally gives me so much anxiety I want to cry. It's awful. I have waited until after the store reopened to return an unopened box of Chanel No 5 my husband gave me for Valentine's Day. The sales associate did not know what to do since I did not have the sales receipt and had to get the manager. I explained it was a gift and the ULTA electronic tag was still on the side of the unopened package. I explained I would take a store credit since it was a gift from my husband, I did not want to ask him to find a receipt from 3 months ago. The manager again asked me if I had the receipt (as if she had not listened to anything I had just said). Then when I again told her it was a gift, she asked if I had my husband's receipt. When I told her no ( once again), she said she would not be able to return it even for a store credit. I have purchased many items and spent lots of dollars at that store. I am done with it and any excuse not to take back an item that is clearly one of their items. Beware of their return policy and excuses to avoid returns even for store credit. This policy "the manager" was referring to was not displayed in a place where shoppers can see it. In fact, it seemed to be a "by the seat of her pants" policy in my opinion. read more

Wow! Ulta Beauty far exceeds my expectations for a beauty supply store! For ladies, it's a little piece of Heaven! The shopping area is enormous and there is even a full-service salon in the rear of the store. The atmosphere is pleasant, inviting, clean and modern. Ulta sells absolutely anything and everything that a woman may want in order to make herself look and feel beautiful! Merchandise includes top makeup lines, top fragrance lines, hair care products, hair accessories, skin care product lines, home spa products, nail care products, nail polishes, and many specialty items! You could easily spend a couple of hours in Ulta. There is quite a selection of products for men as well, however, I have yet to see a male in the store! If you are looking for a cheap bottle of shampoo and a Chapstick, you probably should just pass on Ulta and head to Walmart. If you want personalized attention (including a free makeover!) and expert advise on which deep-conditioning treatment is best for your hair type, Ulta is your store! If you're not already, you'll be hooked after your first visit! I'm thinking the guys don't really want to shop at Ulta because they would have no desire to chose between 73 different types of shampoo! If I'm wrong, please let me know, gentlemen! Ulta Beauty is definitely not a "get in, grab two items, get out"-type of store. When your shopping there, you'll get the feeling like you are in a mall department store. I am a fan of Ulta (definitely during Black Friday), but I was not a fan of the customer service at this location. I love Ulta because of their products, they have such a wide variety of things, and are affordable. However, the last time I visited this store, I could not find what I was looking for, and there was no one around so I could ask for help. Finally, about 10 minutes searching throughout the entire store, I was able to find someone to ask for help. The layout of this store isn't the best and is very confusing. I love coming to the salon at Ulta ! Liz , the salon manager, does my hair and her service is always above and beyond and my hair has never looked better !! She is very knowledgeable and always takes the time to give me tips & tricks on how to style my hair as well as keep it in tip top shape. They have complimentary water and coffee and are a full Redken salon ! PLUS I get Ulta points for getting my hair done , so that equals a lot more free products for me ;) This Ulta also has all the high end make up counters like MAC , Clinique, Lacome and Narz ( which I have never been to another Ulta in Tulsa with those counters ) so while I am getting my color processed I usually shop another thing I like about this Ulta is the location. Anything you can think of is near- target, lows , Ross, books a million , a movie theater, restaurants put the wazoo , sushi so my time at Tulsa hills is always well spent ! read more

My sister has had a stroke and then a brain tumor removed all in the last 2 years. She can't walk on her own and is in rehab. We go to Target so she can walk with the cart, shop and feel some independence. With the cold weather we can't walk outside. We were also going into Ulta for a shaver she wanted. We started into the store. An Ulta female employee rapidly walked towards us. Saying loudly you can't come in here with that cart. I said she can't walk by herself. Thanks for understanding. I was trying to get my sister turned around and out of their store. The woman started trying to explain why my sister couldn't come into the store with the cart. She said something about the isles being too small. I said I don't want to hear your crap. She had already embarrassed my sister. We could have stayed in the middle isle. We didn't need to go down every isle. I think if you have to tell a handicap person they can't bring a cart into your store. You need to fix your store. I have done business with Ulta for years. First off I want to make clear, the girl that did my facial was super nice! It was my first facial and I was so excited, by the end I was extremely disappointed! She never used a single tool, she used a few creams with her fingers and a hot towel! It was like a glorified face wash! I paid for the 60min and she used her fingers and some lotion most of it! I know I don't have anything to compare it to but I could of done that at home! And for the money that can't be all you get. I have a feeling maybe that's not her normal position and they were busy cause she didn't really know the answers to any of my skin questions! I thought I was going to a skin "expert" and I got some eyelashes put on that I was told would last a week! Nope they came off the next day! Again the employees were very nice and tried to help as best they could, except the cashier! The two times I been the cashiers are extremely rude! Do not step foot in this salon! I went in for highlights and to make a long story short, the stylist completely fried my hair. My hair was falling out all over the salon floor, I was in shock!!! The other stylists were watching with mouths agape, as I'm sure that my expression was horrified. Mistake #1. Brushing my highlights from root to ends. #2. Not mixing enough bleach the first time (had to go back three times because she was "trying to save product") #3. Washing my hair with hot water. #4. Not using reconstuctor or any conditioner. I am surprised that Ulta would hire someone that is apparently not trained or skilled in the least bit. They had to put reconstructor in twice as well as toner twice, not to mention chopping of 6-7 inches of dead hair. I will never go to another Ulta salon in my life, it's obvious they have poor hiring practices. To add injury to insult, the stylist said "It might be a product that you put in your hair." ME: I always come with clean hair/no products to all hair appointments. HER: "Well maybe it's because you've had your hair highlighted so many times." ME: It's been 7 months since anyone has touched my hair and in all my life I have never had such an experience!!! Trying to find someone to blame your incompetencies on is shameful. read more

Then I went to checkout at the register (the receipt says her name is Aiyana)-- I put 10 items on the counter. After I paid, I realized one of the items was missing. She said "oh I thought you didn't want that." Why wouldn't I want it if I put it on the counter? Then I got home only to realize that 3 other items are not in my bag. I am a Makeup Artist for a Blowout bar here in tulsa so I was needing some supplies for my kit I was browsing around the store for over an hour and was planning to spend a couple hundred dollars there! In the first hour I was there I was never treated or asked if I needed anything!!! That is the worst customer service I have ever seen! I was looking at the Urban Decay area and the sales associate (the old black lady) wanted to try and make a sale to an older lady who didn't want to buy and got infront of me and blocked my view and made it so uncomfortable to shop!!! I have been going to different salons to try to find the one that's right for me, and this was NOT it! The stylist constantly complained about other stylist taking their stuff or just uncalled for gossip. The cut was horrible, and not even. I had long pieces that weren't even touched that I had to take care of when I got home. And my bangs are just crap. I wanted long side bangs but instead I just an uneven straight across look..
