I was 15yrs old in 87, when a stylist gave me a face frame flat styled at shoulder length, taking about half my hair off. Did I mention that I was 15 & it was the 80s. Big hair was in! I had a picture of what I wanted (80s hair band) - I was stunned when I looked in the mirror & the gal said (seriously) I thought this would look better. I was livid- solution: perm, which fried my hair. 20yrs later, I still hadn't been back to a salon. I walked into trade secret and told them my story. I want someone who will listen, do what I want and can work with dark, thick hair. Suggestion: Wendy... bam, she was on point. I was sold. I told her I'd be a terrible client. My 8 week follow up would likely take me 4 months. She tolerated me and I loved her work. Wendy left for a while & I salon hopped bitterly, never getting the same quality from anyone I saw. I ended up with layers instead of truly thinned hair (where were you in the 80s) & brassy highlights, with an excuse of it being part of the process. I'm never orange after Wendy works her magic. Spots, legitimate spots instead of highlights. I was traumatized. Then a message came: "Wendy's back." - So am I, baby! So am I!! I made an appointment immediately and let her fix almost 6 months of neglect. I can't speak highly enough. My hair is thinned properly, the highlights are well blended and toned. She's going to throw in some lows on our next visit- now that I'm back on track. All for $98 5 stars without question.

She absolutely butchered my hair and I never received a refund! I showed her a picture of exactly what I wanted done and instead of what was pictured and instead she gave me the most God awful pixie cut. I absolutely hated it and my hair took quite some time to grow back to where it could be fixed. I'm never going there again and I told all of my friends not to go there as well. The front desk girl was rude and failed to compensate me for this incident. Trust me, this place isn't worth the time or expense. Megan is an awful person and the rest of the staff wasn't much better.

Even after telling the two associates that were standing by the door talking that we drove a hour to get here, they still refused to let us in even though we only needed one thing. As we sat outside looking for another place to go, the two associates still stood by the door talking for 15 minutes after closing when they could have used that time to help us. They were very rude, very disrespectful, very arrogant, and do not care about customers. This was not the first time we had a bad experience with this place.

We've hit the one year mark with these guys, after a grueling search for a replacement to our guy that left the field during that thing we don't talk about. Today was just a cleaning, polish & fluoride... which, btw, they have a new unflavored variety that I found completely non-offensive! YaY! After my cleaning, the doc came in for a check &, thankfully, it's still just the one failed root canal awaiting treatment at the endeodontist (Who will have a separate review, if i ever get in! 10mo so far) Services were fully covered by insurance, woth no put of pocket & I'll be back mid-July.
