Kristen is a great listener and has a warm personality and I would recommend her to everyone! (I live in Gurley, AL so my friends and neighbors here prefer to go to salons closer.) I have not been to see her as often as I would like because for the past year my schedule has been hectic. I cannot say enough good things about her! I am so glad she picked this occupation! And the salon is gorgeous inside! I wanted to add that, though most of the employees are young, I feel comfortable going there! I don't wear much makeup, if any, and I dress casually (shorts & t-shirts) because I am a young retiree! The last time I was there at their newest location, I found quite a few clients dressed like myself without much makeup on!

I tried to get my appointment rescheduled with her for a week and a half! I was planning on having this appointment before having professional pictures done, and I could not get that done due to overall unprofessional scheduling and a disregard of client communication importance! The salon is relaxing, spacious, well laid out and trendily decorated. nXn features Kevin Murphy products, and they carry a good supply. Their online booking system (Vagaro) is so user friendly! I love it! You can download the app to your smart phone to see your stylist's availability and are provided with text/e-mail confirmations and reminders. It's a breeze! The Salon is right around the corner from the relatively new Tw Ickenham multi-use community (with Publix, Asian Rim, Cajun Steamer, Taco Mama's) so it's so fun to make a day of it and get your hair done (or a massage, nails, etc.) at nXn and then meet your friends for happy hour around the corner! Thanks Troy for creating nXn! My next appointment is right at two weeks away and I'm already looking forward to it!

If you are stressed out from life or just in need of a little pampering... they give you the attention and personal time you crave, away from the needy mate, whining children, pissy co-worker or demanding boss. The salon is clean and airy, with ample seating, pleasant decor, good coffee and personal attention. They appreciate each and every client, be it walk-in or long standing Friday afternoon appointment. Everyone is important and they make you feel that way. Bring your child because they also have a nice kid's room complete with TV, games and puzzles and a nice selection of children's video programs. I love this place. They did not offer her a hair wash and did not follow the instructions given for the haircut. They didn't even wet her hair with a bottle to cut it. My wife was very displeased with the whole experience but she is a bit shy since it was her first time there so she didn't say anything. After she told me, I was pretty disappointed. I called them and spoke to the owner. I explained what happened and that we would like our money refunded. The owner said "she got her hair cut and the girl has to get paid" and that she would not refund any money. She offered to have my wife come in and they would "fix" it, but my wife did not want to go back (obviously). I rarely ask for money back in any situation, but in this case I felt it was warranted since they did not follow instructions or give the proper services that they advertised. Horrible customer service and we will never go back.
