I have had surgery for cataracts by both Doctors Ullman. Dr. Saul Ullman repaired my left eye in 2013. The preparation and post operation process was relatively complex. The actual surgery was efficient, painless and effective. The result was spectacular. When the cataract in my right eye needed surgery, I met Dr. Michael Ullman. He noticed that I had retina damage as well as cataract. So he arranged to have that repaired first. Then he repaired my right eye. Again, the surgery was efficient, painless and effective, and the result spectacular. The pre and post operation process has been streamlined. I can see individual leaves on a tree a block away and no longer perceive blue tint by the left eye compared to yellow tint by the right. Dr. Michael Ullman was very patient and understanding when I mentioned I had a lot of anxiety about cataract surgery and needed to be completely out with anesthesia. Dr Ullman was thorough in addressing my concerns. I was out and comfortable during surgery but I was aware of my surroundings. Remember the pin point lights that appeared off in the distance. What made me feel comfortable was when he was talking softly to me and that I was doing great. I felt comfortable and no fear during the procedure. His technical staff was caring and listened to your inquiries for the procedure. Front desk staff was polite and kept you informed but the wait was very short when one was called back.
