I was referred here by a friend who has her wisdom teeth removed a couple of years ago…read more My first apointment was an emergency to have 2 compacted wisdom teeth removed. They fit me in same day and I was done within a couple of hours. I opted just to be numbed to the gods (since I didn't have insurance at the time). I felt no pain during the procedure. Dr Whitecare called me hours after my apointment to make sure everything was good to go & that I was feeling okay. Customer service like that is hard to find and going the extra mile for patients is something I appreciate. Today, I went in to have some cavities filled and had another great experience. He made sure all areas of my mouth were once again numb to the gods before he started. I was feeling a bit of the drilling about halfway through and he re applies the numbing stuff to make sure I wouldn't be in pain. Another follow up call a couple hours later was also made. I'm glad I've finally found a dentist I actually enjoy going too!

I was supposed to see the dentist this morning. Mistake #1 I trust directions to Siri. # 2 I trusted Siri and didn't check. Siri took me to a dentist office that had the same name as the one I used in Norfolk. SMILE CENTER. I got there and the NIGHTMARE BEGAN!! I went inside to check in BUT !! It was not the dentist office where I had the appointment!! By now I was pretty upset. I was going to be late for my real appointment AND I had no idea where I was. Mistake # 3 I was upset and not feeling well so I asked to use the restroom. I was told "WE DON'T HAVE ONE" not for you just for OUR PATIENTS!! I'm sure these 2 women are nothing more than $9 an hour workers, just there to answer the phone and take your money, so they have no medical knowledge, but apparently they have no human decency either!! Maybe they thought they would have to clean up after me or maybe they thought I was going to die and they would rather I did it out of sight in the parking lot and not in the office where they might have to get up and help but for whatever reason their reaction was to tell me " GET OUT NOW OR IM CALLING THE POLICE ". I left went across the street to the Walgreens where I used the restroom got a drink of water and left. NOTHING TO CLEAN UP!! I'm relaying this to warn people who might be thinking of using this dentist office. This is the kind of people you will be dealing with. If you're OK with that great if not look somewhere else. It doesn't matter how good the dentist is because he doesn't meet you at the door, they do.

Everything was fine with this office until it became clear that money comes before patient care. My…read morefamily of five has been coming here consistently: never late, never missing an appointment. Despite that, this is the only medical provider I've ever seen where if you don't confirm an appointment, they cancel it without even notifying you (though they'll call and text repeatedly asking you to confirm). The first time this happened was December of last year. I explained that I already struggle with dental anxiety and take a sedative before visits, which makes last-minute cancellations especially difficult. Instead of understanding, Dr. F responded by saying many patients have state insurance and around the holidays "money is tight," so they cancel unconfirmed appointments to fill slots. Not only was this offensive, but it also felt like a baseless assumption about me and other patients. They promised to "flag" my account so it wouldn't happen again. Multiple family appointments with no issue after that. Fast forward to today: I left work early, showed up for my 1:00 appointment (after waiting outside 20 minutes while the office was closed for lunch), only to be told once again, "Oh no, you didn't confirm, so your appointment was cancelled." No call. No text. No respect for my time. I immediately cancelled all future appointments for myself and my family. I've never had a healthcare provider require confirmation to keep an appointment, especially when I already confirm at the time of booking and track everything in my calendars. Most offices simply charge a no-show fee if you miss--it's fair and professional. Here, however, patients who show up on time are punished because they didn't jump through an extra hoop. I had even referred extended family to this office, but after this experience, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. The lack of professionalism, disregard for patients, and tone-deaf policies are absolutely unacceptable.

Ever since the switch over from Dr. Levy things shifted. Call and text me 18 times before to confirm but wake me up on my day off at 7am to cancel my appointment because the hygienist got sick. Ok people get sick but if I would've got sick and tried to cancel the morning of I'm charged a fee. They cancel but I was having pain as well on one side so wanted to still come in. They tell me I can come in at 8 am so they woke me up and now I got to jump up and get dressed and run there if I want to be seen. Fine, while there I reschedule my cleaning and I'm off on fridays so that's best. Made appointments got call next day to from hygienist to schedule it earlier we go threw dates and times and I let her know what I do and cant leave work till 530 but she apparently doesn't work on Fridays i assume from the conversation we had. So against my better judgment I say fine let's do Thursday at 330. I had to clear this with my leadership to dismiss my class 2 hrs early and try to make it there. I'm coming from Columbia area so traffic I call tell them this and tell them I'm on the way. I arrived late of course around 340 or so and get told after all that unfortunately it's too late to be seen. I just short changed my students one day, lost some money off my check cause I left early just to be told unfortunately I can't be seen. I never wanted that day she acted as if Friday just wasn't an option. Front desk asked me if I wanted to reschedule. No thank you. I wish I didn't cause I really liked Dr Levy but it seems like I need to start looking into finding a new dentists preferably one that operates on a Friday cause Brooklyn Park dental definitely does not.

I Went in to Correct ONE Tooth. I walked away losing MY SMILE!…read more I've lost a house before. I've lost a car before. But I never imagined one of the most painful losses of my life would be my smile. I originally came to Dr. Bonebreak to correct ONE tooth. I trusted his professional judgment, followed every instruction, attended my appointments, took time off work without pay, and visited my regular dentist every other month for cleanings costing approximately $200 each to ensure greatness. Between treatment, lost wages, and related expenses, I estimate this cost me well over $10,000. I did everything I was supposed to do. And I deeply regret ever beginning treatment here at Flagship Orthodontics. My lower left teeth now look noticeably different from my lower right teeth. Some appear tilted inward and overlapping. My alignment is uneven, my midline is off, and I'm very unhappy with my teeth and smile. I also have dark buccal corridors on both sides of my smile that make it appear narrow and unbalanced, a very dark space on both sides. When I brought these concerns to Dr. Bonebreak, he acknowledged seeing what I was pointing out. Yet instead of providing meaningful answers, I felt he repeatedly deflected. He flipped through photographs of other patients' mouths, pulled up images, and compared my teeth to other patients' teeth, seemingly suggesting my situation could be worse. I wasn't there to discuss someone else's smile. I was there because I was devastated by mine. I specifically asked whether getting braces again or pursuing another orthodontic treatment could help. He said no. Instead, he discussed breaking my jaw, surgery at Johns Hopkins, spending days in the hospital, and shaving down my teeth. It felt like he was making it sound as extreme as possible to deflect. Then came the comment that hurt the most. He suggested I have to start adjusting the way I smile. REREAD THAT AGAIN. His remedy is that I adjust my smile to hide the result of his treatment! Unbelievable. Then he said come back and see him in a month if I need to talk. For what? To talk about how I feel I've been wronged? It felt like pure manipulation. I'm 54 years old. I've been smiling this way my entire life. To spend thousands of dollars correcting my teeth and then be told to change the way I've naturally smiled for 54 years felt like a direct insult. I do a podcast, and my smile looks horrible on camera. I didn't pay an orthodontist to teach me how to smile. I paid him to correct my tooth. So I got a second opinion. Another orthodontist examined me and told me this CAN be corrected with braces. No breaking my jaw. No Johns Hopkins. No days in the hospital. The very treatment I was told wouldn't help. Now I'm facing thousands more out of pocket to fix the result of treatment I already paid for. What I find particularly troubling is that this dentist has been recognized as one of the top dentists, yet my experience left me feeling unheard, dismissed, and devastated. The money hurts. The lost time hurts. But neither compares to looking in the mirror and feeling uncomfortable with my own smile. I would pay millions to have that smile back. My tears are flowing as I write this review. I wish I had never started this treatment. I wish Dr. Bonebreak never touched me. If you're considering treatment here, get a second opinion first. This is my honest account of what happened in that office. I do not recommend this orthodontist.
