I have been a big fan of the brand for a long time and have visited this Archive store + purchased…read moreon several occasions. I also work with retail and Education with 15+ experience. My visit yesterday however was probably the worst client service given in my life - I can take that minimal service given since a few days before Christmas but the fact the store had two staff members of which one ignored my request of checking for a size, the second male staff talked very loudly with someone he knew in terms of going to interviews for other jobs and very clear his mind was not in the store. Anyway I asked to put two items on hold since I wanted to show my best friend the following morning - I was told it was only possible until end of day which I said was fine since I would arrive for the opening the following morning. When we arrived today at 11.01 the store was not opened and no staff in sight - we waited 15 minutes and then the staff arrived. I asked to try the pieces reserved; which she first couldnt find since he never took my name so she had to ring the guy putting them on hold and to find out he sold one of the pieces after I left. She had the weirdest reasoning for this and almost felt like this was a natural thing happening and that the dress I was planning to buy was no longer available. With this I also want to say we later visited the Acne Studio store in the city; and even if only one staff and several clients she gave excellent service and was super helpful to everyone in store.

Emporia is one of the biggest malls in Scandinavia. Hard to believe they've been open about 7…read moreyears since 2012. Located in Hyllie, access is easy as the mall is right next to the train station. You have 3 levels with a deck on the upper level with some nice views. An abundant variety of retail stores/services (about 220) with a couple of grocery stores (ICA & Willys) and Systembolaget (liquor store). The food court & restaurants are ok with a good variety including Vapiano to Jensen's Bofhus, Joe & the Juice, Thai, Vietnamese, Burgers, sushi and cafes. They have a parking garage as well a roof garden. Decorations are quite nice during the holidays with a huge tree. Currently working on expanding even further. Shop til you drop!

One warning: Don't go to Emporia on the first day of sales season…read more Otherwise, this place is pretty decent shopping mall and far more interesting than Fields, that once bragged the biggest mall in Scandinavia. Emporia has plenty of shops, some of them have their duplicates in Denmark, some don't and those are my favourite - since I have to cross the bridge all the way from Denmark to Sweden to visit this place, so I won't be visiting TGR (Why do they abbreviate Tiger?) or Illums Bolighus for that matter. Mostly I visit Emporia for three reasons: L'occitane (somehow, this is the only place where I found the 500ml shampoo bottle/refill), hardware shop Clas Ohlson (this shop is just freaking awesome, and of course a shop this awesome can't be found anywhere in Copenhagen *thumbs down*) and ICA supermarket (why are Danish supermarkets such downer compared to ICA?) You better make your trip worth it and we always do and go back to our residential land with loads of heavy shopping bags that make our hands hurt. Maximize your shopping, that is!

Terrible customer service and deceptive practices--…read more I ordered a pair of shoes and paid a high shipping fee. About a week later, DHL contacted me saying I owed a large amount in import duties before they would deliver the package. When I reached out to the company, they basically said it wasn't their problem and pointed to their terms and conditions -- where, buried in fine print, they claim they're not responsible for such fees. Most reputable companies either include import duties in the price or clearly disclose them before checkout. Instead, this company hides that information deep in the fine print, knowing that most customers would think twice before buying if the true cost were clear upfront. It is incredibly misleading. Thankfully, my credit card company immediately recognized the issue and refunded me in full.

They transfer the prior season or two from their "current fashion season" merchandise to this discounted storefront right next door. Most of it just has to do with colors of the season. Danish fashion does have it's certain look and I thought I would be in and out quickly...not so. There were so many outfits that I really liked. What made it more irresistible was one part of the store was 70% off and the other 50%. It's beautifully done store (as is most everything in CPH). I added more and more things to my pile and had to make the tough decision of what stays and what goes. The jewelry (Danish designs) were unique and practically at given away prices. I picked some necklaces for my friends and also as thank you momentos from me for the ladies at my hotel (Babette Gundsmeden). Maybe this store was too close to my digs. I love the few items that I purchased, all at 70% off...I soon went back to look over their things again. What's nice is that MANY designs fit all body types and sizes. The store right next door also has added great stuff and the newest season colors. The clothes are up there in (regular) price so I went right back into their sale store because their inventory was about the same. The lovely Brighita was so nice, spoke English flawlessly with a slight lovely accent. They hace a nuber of store throughout the city. She prepared my paperwork for ease for me in getting my taxes refunded at the airport. Do not forget to do this prior to entering customs..it adds up. Keep your receipts in order. They DO keep the originals so photo them on your phone so that you can add up how much this trip dented your account. Yes, this place is a definite recommend.....it was a lovely shopping experience.
