We booked a recent Croatian cruise. When booking flights we asked them to reserve us extra legroom seats, they emailed us to say us they would do so. However when we got the boarding passes we discovered they had not, and by that time they had all gone. We were promised they would look into this but we have heard nothing. My husband emailed them last week and we can see they have read the email but have simply ignored it. I personally do not trust them to deal with anything beyond a standard booking. We have just returned from a small ship cruise around the northern islands and coast of Dalmatia. We chose UK2 Travel because they were offering the northern cruise from Split. On every occasion I spoke to UK" Travel they were very obliging, friendly and helpful. We travelled on the Peregrin Dalmatia and had a twin cabin on the main deck. We found there was ample storage space for 2 people with standard luggage, the cabin was well fitted and not too cramped, in the bathroom it was again of a good standard and a large walk in shower. There were 29 passengers in total and 7 crew. All the passengers got on well together and were very friendly. All the crew were helpful and attentive, we did not see as much of the captain but he was steering the ship! Breakfast was good continental with eggs, bacon or sausage most days. The 3 course lunch was excellent every day. We found out that last year the Royal Eleganza was sold to the current owners who did a lot of upgrading over the winter. Some of the crew are part owners and they had been running the ship for 4 weeks when we boarded on the 16th June 2018. Overall we had a marvelous time and visited some fantastic small towns and islands. the temperature was approx. 30 deg C. I understand Croatia can be as hot as 40C. in August which would be too hot for me. read more

Just returned from a one week cruise in Croatia purchased last year from UK2Travel. Everything was reasonably well organised, tickets arrived in plenty of time, service on board was ok but not great, the choice of hotels in Split for a few days before and after the cruise was also good BUT if you are thinking of going on cruises in Croatia be prepared to be told that you cannot stay overnight in places like Hvar and Dubrovnik as these destinations seem to be being oversold due to their popularity. We had one heck of an online spat with UK2Travel during our cruise to try and get into the locations / harbours we had specifically booked to visit (to see our son who was visiting Hvar / Croatia on a rugby tour at the same time). We were just told by the ship's crew "you can't get into Hvar as it is too busy", we eventually had to propose a compromise, i.e. being dropped off in Hvar in the afternoon and only getting back on the boat very late at night when it returned. Also take your own towels as there was no towel change on the boat for the week of the cruise (Royal Eleganza, now renamed the Peregrine Dalmatia). If you are staying in the Delux cabin number 9 watch out for the disgusting stains on the mattress (sea sickness ?). Having been to Croatia we now know that there are much more well appointed boats around for similar cruises. read more
