I really appreciate the care and time I received for my Baby and I from Chenango Memorial Hospital…read more I was having Contractions (which turned out to be false Labor) I was Scared because Baby Boy had some cookin' to do... We got to the Hospital and everyone was so attentive and great with the positioning and role they have In Their job. They move fast and answer all questions me and My Fiancé had very in depth. They helped with the contractions and kept us overnight to make sure we were safe, and that Baby Boy didn't make his appearance Early. One nurse that especially stood out to Us was Dawn on the Maternity Ward. She was very upbeat and had a great attitude and sense of Humor. She answered all of our questions, and offered up lots of useful information. The Doctor, (Dr. White.) came from home to check on us and to make sure everything was okay. She was very Quick, with her plan of action and explain things Thoroughly and she was very Blunt. She gave us very straight answers and ordered all texts to make sure Mama and Baby Boy were fine! We are VERY pleased with Dr. White. And Last but not least, Hannah. The Ultrasound Technician. She was very fun to talk to and randomly throughout our Ultrasound would offer up facts and information to Dad and I about Our Son. She would offer up medical advice as to fluids and how the baby was positioned and would point out what was going on on the screen with our Son. And would explain everything. She also has a great sense of humor! We are 29 weeks and knew for 9 that it was a boy, and because of the stressful impromptu situation made some good light from it, and put "Still A Boy." On One of our picture of our sons Lower Extremities. Thanks to Hannah, we have a Funny, Social Story to Tell our Son when he grows up... Thanks to all the staff at Chenango Memorial Hospital! And for all the Caring you do! Keep up the AMAZING work and Awesome Teamwork.

The care sucks and there is no follow up. They don't take patients concerns seriously nor do they…read moremake sure they are 100% before discharge. They do the bare minimum to help get patients better. If they truly cared, they would provide more thorough care. I do understand people have the right to appeal a discharge but why would they stay any longer when the care is shitty as hell to begin with. They overwork the aides and pile so much on them. More than than what they should be doing. Twice now you have caused my mom to be in critical condition for the lack of proper care. DO BETTER CMH. YOU'RE A DISGRACE TO HEALTHCARE AND SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF. FROM WHAT I SEE, THIS COULD BE CONSIDERED MEDICAL MALPRACTICE.

I have been going there steadily for…read moreat 11 years and have seen many doctors over the years because for some reason they don't stay very long at this hospital. I have seen 3 primary care doctors in the last year. One doctor only once. So I keep having to go over my medical history every visit and explain everything over and over. Hard to prescribe new or update medications when they don't know my history. Seriously thinking about going to another health care provider. And talking with other patients who have experienced this also. Many are not happy with the service being provided.

Extremely disappointing experience. This hospital is incredibly disorganized, and the lack of…read morecommunication between staff and patients is unacceptable. Doctors often seemed unwilling to listen to patient concerns or requests, while some staff members came across as dismissive, unhelpful, and indifferent. When you're going to a hospital, you expect professionalism, compassion, and quality care--not confusion, frustration, and staff who make you feel like your concerns don't matter. If you have the option, I would seriously consider making the drive into New York City for better-quality care. Unfortunately, based on my experience, this hospital falls far short of what I would consider acceptable healthcare.

I've never been to a better Hospital - it was very clean despite lots of construction going on; the nurses were absolutely top notch; the health care team of PA'S, case workers, aides, and various directors were exceptionally professional, responsive, informative, and friendly. We had an excellent experience, and I'm so glad we didn't go to one of the chaotic, understaffed and overcrowded Syracuse hospitals. So worth the extra drive time. I'd go to Hamilton Hospital any time - it's superb in every way.

If I could give a negative star review, it would be at least a -20…read more My mother was sent there on Wednesday to the ER. She was told she was being admitted due to a severe infection. they moved her from one room to another in the ER Department, then after 1 more day, sent her back to the nursing home without any treatment except for a "dose" of Antibiotics and a "hope you get better soon" type of deal and they released her based on the 2.3 seconds the "doctor" (not even sure he's legit licensed to practice medicine), saw her and said she was "good enough to go back" despite the fact her blood work, and lab test results were still pending and hadn't been reported back to the nurses. Along with the fact they gave her antibiotics she is allergic to and of course said "you'll be fine" Hands down WORST hospital and staff I've ever had the unpleasantness of dealing with.
