Someone has to be at the bottom of their class! Even at medical school. Unfortunately they all got hired here!

The doctors here are amazing. Very friendly staff in the ER section. I was taken into a room before I could even finish filling out forms.

I was hospitalized twice in February for a total of around 13 days. The Filipino nurses are…read moreexcellent, unsure how long they will be okay working there or in good spirits with the system. It is obvious the hospital is budgeting sometimes due to the detriment of the patients. They helped me save my legs as I had infections, yet I dismissed several doctors because they did not handle my blood sugar well. I could barely walk--I was so weak and had to use a commode instead of the bathroom the full time I was there. The hospital policy is 140-200 blood sugar is considered under control when I get serious complications if my blood sugar is more than 120. I finally received good doctors that set me also up with the Ophthalmology where I went during my stay at the hospital. The pain killers were mostly a joke, and i called the police twice about it--not receiving all of my pain killers, had to hear moaning in pain from other patients--called the police about that too, as one 80 + year-old with hip surgery was complaining about the pain and the nurses (not the Filipino nurses) just left her and did not return. They do not have diabetic food but the regular food was decent. the diabetic marginalization was not because of the chef or cooking staff but hospital policy, and people are not allowed to order food or anything else from outside for delivery to the hospital room due to security. How weird is that, supposedly Cooperstown Hospital has security issues. The nursing staff is discouraged from wearing face masks when they care for wounded people. The first time I was discharged, I had not my pain meds, a visiting homecare nurse had to help me get the prescription to my pharmacy. Anyway--part of the stay felt great like a five-star health spa--had a great huge window view of scenery, cable TV, and felt pampered--the other part was a horror of pain and having to find better doctors. For a day or two, I even had a troll in my shared room mumbling. i was able to work online from the hospital with my laptop but the hospital does not give out laptops for people to use, one must bring one's own laptop. I am still healing at home and have visiting nurses three times a week. My health insurance is not that great, but with prayers it worked out. However, I still have to fully recover and I have serious eye problems they are trying to take care of. Praying for the good health of everyone ad myself.

Regardless I have never had to wait long at all to receive service whether I am seeing by a PA or an NP I am always treated with professional compassionate Care I have been a nurse for 41 years and I have to say that they're always on the money in what clinically diagnosed and the medications if needed prescribed. Everyone from the front desk to the medical assistance everyone that you come into contact there is always friendly and professional I rather go there than to my primary and sometimes I usually do oops I don't know if I'm supposed to say that I highly recommend them for excellent clinical care

BEWARE!!! This WellNow Urgent Care is in my network, but…read morethe doctors are not. My daughter is in college and came down with Bronchitis, so she went to WellNow in April of 2024 because they are in my network, confirmed by my health insurance. WellNow charged my daughter out-of-network cost of $165 for her visit which should have been in-network and only $15. After repeated phone calls with WellNow billing department they admitted that the visit should have been in-network and only $15 and would reimburse my daughter the $150 she is owed in 30-45 days. After months, they still had not reimbursed my daughter so I spoke with my insurance company who contacted WellNow billing department on my behalf and my insurance called me back to say it has been corrected and that WellNow will reimburse my daughter the $150 within 45 days. As of today, 08/28/2024, not only has WellNow not reimbursed my daughter, but I received a bill in the mail from Doctor Krystyna Koryzma, who treated my daughter, for out-of-network expenses of $334, in addition. How is this even possible??? My daughter goes to an in-network urgent care for serious issues but the doctors that work there are not in-network? My daughter should have been informed prior to treatment. How is it this doctor is not billing through WellNow so it is in-network? If one does not pay their doctor bill after 4 months, I'm sure WellNow would threaten collections. I am completely disgusted by the WellNow Urgent Care professionalism and their very questionable billing. Christopher R. Katonah, NY

Linda Davis Spent a week here for pneumonia and Sepsis. Was…read moreextremely sick. Everything was great except 2 employees. Noone in bathroom, toilet low, bending over to put foot in attends and rolled off on L side. Was a clear bandage with blood under it, came off so there was blood on floor. She scresmed at me and put alarm on my bed. That was not the only time she yelled at me. Writing this because keep thinking why did I not stivk up for myself. This person and one other night before I came home may stop me from ever going there again.

'Desiree' checked us in but was quick to tell us it would "be a while because they were doing reports." We sat in the empty waiting room....for over 30 min with no one updating us on when he might be seen...in the EMERGENCY ROOM. His pain getting worse I stepped up and asked Desiree if she knew how much longer we'd be waiting as we'd been there for over 30 min. and his pain was increasing. (Waiting rm still empty except us). Desiree immediately snapped at me "You don't need to come up here with all that attitude!" (The only 'attitude' I had was concern for my husband and at no time during that interaction did I so much as raise my voice. I simply asked the question). Desiree then informed me that there was a shift change going on and we'd have to wait! In the empty EMERGENCY ROOM. I went back and updated my husband who by this time was doubled over. I stood up and asked Desiree if she knew how much longer they'd be before he'd be seen. "How am I suppose to know?" She snapped at me. My husband had enough and stood up to leave telling Desiree that it was crazy to show up in the ER and be forced to wait over 30 minutes in his condition because of 'reports' being done and shift changes. Bottom line: Fox Hospital EMERGENCY ROOM is the WORST! If you're having an emergency please avoid it at all costs, especially at 7:00am when apparently 'reports' & 'shift changes' outweigh the health and safety of patients having true emergencies. Side bar, Desiree literally covered her name tag up with her hand when I asked for her name. She finally uncovered her first name when the security guard walked over. We will be calling Bassett later today to report her and the poor excuse for an EMERGENCY ROOM.
