My dog is Methuselah old and Spring always takes such good care of him. She really tries to make sure he looks good and doesn't just get it done as fast as possible because he is acting difficult. He's deaf and losing his vision, so he's confused, and she cares about making him comfortable. I feel like he's safe there and I don't worry because he's not with me. They did a great job on our long hair, adult cat. Our cat was getting hairball stomach blockages from cleaning himself and was having a hard time getting them up. It was really important to get him trimmed but we've never taken a cat to a groomer. They did a wonderful job and our cat was so calm when he came back! We were sure he'd be traumatized! I took my two 13 week old puppies for their first grooming and the short haired blondish female employee who works there pissed me off so much. I should've taken my money elsewhere but I didn't and that's something I regret. Entering the salon, there were a couple of customers picking up their pet and the employee was trying to sell them on an air spray bottle that she claimed it stopped dogs from barking. My sister came along that day with me to hold one of my two puppies. That's when the employee saw my dog(Adam) that my sister was holding and said, "there's a puppy right here" to the customer she wanted to sell her product too. "Can I see him?" That's when my sister having no reason to not do so, gave Adam to her. He didn't want to go with her and that's when she started tugging on his leash and he started crying, yelping and trying to get away from her and she starts blowing that stupid air can agitating him more and scaring him. You'd think she'd stopped there putting a dog in distress as her stupid can isn't doing the trick but she continued scaring Adam to sell her product to a customer. Adam was now jumping, squealing trying to run away, I had never seen him scared like that before and she finally stopped with her BS air can and that's when he fell into being quiet and regaining his calmness. "See? It also works great for cats" the employee said. I DO NOT recommend you take your dogs over here. They did a decent job with the grooming but I regret having that be Adam's first experience and I regret not grabbing my dogs and saying, "I don't appreciate you putting my dog through what you just did just to sell your crap to someone else." I should've left and HIGHLY encourage you to not go here. Yes, it's in downtown and downtown is flashy and all but it's not worth it. That employee put the customer here first instead of the real customer who are our dogs. read more

I have three dogs, and I've been taking them to Ufuri for a long time. It's a welcoming environment and more importantly, they know what they are doing. They know dogs. That's important. They have a rapport with my pets, and I know when I leave my furry ones that they will be well tended to. Am I fussy about my dogs? Yes! Would I trust them to just anyone? No! I dont even know where to start...I took two yorkies there. I had to make my husband walk away off the get go because her arrogance was 10 fold. Telling us that 1 of my reg yorkies wasn't. Not going finish that. Saw some girl run around and was told she was in training. Was told it would be 2 1/2 hrs. My littlest was a fuzzy ball. I got out most of the mats night before. Understanding if mats were bad, that would cut them out. I knew under arm pits would need shirt because of sweaters. The other yorkie had straighter hair but wasn't bad. 5 1/2 hrs later....OMG! Littlest was horrible, the other not far behind. Young girl rang us up. I asked who cut them, owner peeks her head out "I did". The more I looked at them, the more upset I got. I called and she asked what was the matter, I said...and I quote "my dogs look, sorry, but for a better word sh*t" that is when she started speaking loudly and every foul word there is came out of her mouth. And once she started accusing me of saying the same foul words, my husband could hear her and he started getting mad. Finally I just hung up on her. First time taking my dog here, they did not clean his ears like was stated and missed one of his nails for the trimming. The treatment on his skin did get rid of his dandruff he has been getting in the cold though so that's a huge plus. So much more than a groomer! The love and attention Spring and her staff shows our pets/babies is above and beyond. My girls get excited every time the shop comes into view. She gets so many doggie hugs and kisses when they see her because they love and respect her so much! She gives us tips all the time that improve the relationship we have with the pets. The whole staff is amazing and attentive! I don't just recommend this place, I nag lol because I could never imagine taking my girls anywhere else after experiencing this. read more
