Only takes cash. Small plates with a Mediterranean flair. I don't think we went wrong and out party of 4 all ordered different things and we all enjoyed! Great option to sit out side and they had Sherpa seat covers to keep you warm! Server was great and did well helping us navigate the menu. read more

Little cafe next to the park. Had 2 beers and the most delicious flamenkuchen I've ever had (even in Alsace!) really a delightful little place. Highly recommend if you're in this area of Stuttgart. Kids enjoyed the park and playground, we enjoyed the river view and food. (The kids weren't under our care, so don't worry! )! read more

Awesome place. Very cozy. We got focaccias with goat cheese and nuts and prosciutto and a very tasty potato/carrot soup. Service was super friendly and attentive. Awesome and very recommendable. Decoration and atmosphere amazing. read more

An excellent choice for a focaccia, beer, cake and coffee. The coffee surprised me pleasantly - it was better than I had expected. The Swiss are catching up with the Italians here. Lovely outside seating on the banks of the Rhine at Rhein-am-See. Very relaxed atmosphere on a Sunday afternoon. Good value for money, too. read more

We came in here after on a very cold afternoon and were delighted by the warm atmosphere and great service. Our potato and carrot soup was delicious! I had to get a second helping of the cheese focaccia we ordered: goat cheese, brie, nuts, and a touch of honey. The lady brought a wooden rocking horse for our toddler to play, excellent service. If you ever come to this delightful little town you have to come for coffee or a beer at least. read more

Up the 3 steps were culinary knives, my level had jams and jellies, but I didn't see the whiskey. We headed downstairs. Tucked away in the far back left corner is the whiskey selection. Most are from Scotland and there are a few from Ireland. Here's the reason why I really like this place- you can purchase 100ml samplings of select whiskey. Rarely do I ever see a shop do this. Count yourself fortunate, Freiburg. It took me a long time to decide, but I finally left with an Aberlour 19 year single cask whiskey. They have Speyside, Islay, Highlands and other designations. Let yourself me drawn in by the whiskey lure. They do have some other spirits including, what I can only assume to be, house infused spirits on the far opposite side of the lower room.
