Then they upsell for a $600 treatment plan and act confused as to why you want your money back. From their own website: "Any teeth cleaning at Carp Dental in Norristown, PA will include the following: Removal of calculus (tartar): Calculus is hardened plaque that has been left on the tooth for some time and is now attached to the surface of your teeth. Calculus forms above and below the gum line and can only be removed with special dental cleaning instruments. Removal of plaque: Plaque is a sticky, almost invisible film that forms on your teeth. It is a growing colony of living bacteria, food debris, and saliva. The bacteria produce toxins that inflame the gums. This inflammation is the start of periodontal disease. Teeth polishing: removes staining and plaque from your teeth that is not removed during routine tooth brushing." This is a lie. Third, Monica should be nowhere NEAR customers of any kind. After completing my X-rays and consultation with the dentist, I was then advised there was "no time" left for my cleaning. I expressed my concern because only part of the appointment was honored. I arrived 20 minutes before my scheduled appointment time, so the lack of fulfillment was extremely unprofessional and showed very little consideration for patients and their time.

Despite that, I was later billed for charges I never knowingly approved and never agreed to pay out of pocket. What made this worse was the lack of transparency. I repeatedly asked for clear documentation, itemized charges, and proof that I signed for certain services they later claimed I owed. Instead of properly resolving the dispute, the account was sent to collections and reported to the credit bureaus. I already paid significant amounts directly to the office, including payment for Invisalign by credit card, yet they still pursued additional disputed charges without properly explaining them. Patients should be very careful here and request everything in writing before agreeing to treatment. Make sure you fully understand what insurance covers and what they may later try to bill you for. Very stressful experience overall, especially the handling of billing and collections.

Everything was organized and they asked all the important question about my medical and dental history. They left nothing out. When I first met Dr Veys I was totally impressed. She examined me front to back, up and down, inside and out. I apologized for the mess my mouth was in. I saw a Prosthodontist for almost 9 years. I spend a lot of money, time, pain and not to mention anxiety. This dentist I saw was a salesman and sold me a lot of junk. Whatever work that was done had to be redone. Dr Veys was able to fix and undue the damage that was done and I didn't have to take a second mortgage. I never had to sit around. She ran pretty much on schedule. This was wonderful after waiting hours to see the other dentist. I spent more time walking out of appointments which was horrible, lack of patients time and unprofessional. I didn't have the anxiety of her discussing money and what things cost. The previous dentist would talk money before working on me. Even telling me how to pay for the work. I thought that was the job of the front office? There is never any pressure at Dr Veys. All financial services are handled with the staff at the front desk. Erica explains everything on the bill. What was done at today's visit and what was happening at upcoming visits. Oh yes, Melissa, what an incredible hygienist. I've had my teeth cleaned ever since I had teeth. WOW, I think she cleaned and sanitized my mouth like Mr Clean. I never knew my mouth could feel so smooth and shiny and decay free. My fingers are tired of talking. Also, I found it interesting that when I would ask questions she would appear annoyed. I have gone to another dentist who is wonderful. I explained my family wants required procedures and we're happy to discuss any that are anything else. What we didn't want was every visit to be told we need work, when we didn't. He also takes the time to really explain the what and why of his work - it's really fantastic. Example: Last time I went to Veys several years ago I was told I had several teeth that needed cavity work. My new dentist never mentioned a thing. He did say everything looked great and he advised on items that might be coming within the next 10 years due to my age. Don't take my word for it, talk to anyone who has seen her for more than a couple years.

First issue is that I never approved sealant and the second issue is that I took the kids to another dentist afterwards to check the work and unfortunately there were only four teeth with remnant of sealant and nothing else. Sealant usually last for years if they were placed in the first place. If this is not highway robbery I don't know what is. If I tell you I was taken advantage of that would be an understatement. It's sad to see a supposedly professional office Fraudulently charged clients for work that has not been rendered. I had to get the sealant thrdone at another dentist. Also charged me for x-rays for my wife that they have never provided me copy of even though I specifically asked them for copy of all x-rays.

First of all, I asked if my insurance would cover my regular dental checkup and was told it would. I in fact discovered after the fact that this office was out of network, which led me to incur personal expenses out of pocket. As these are almost always avoidable, I found this very disappointing. Second, I was given an XRay without being warned of the possibility that I would have to pay out of pocket for it. Apparently the XRay that was provided was a special type of XRay that is only covered for me once every few years, while a normal XRay would have been covered. I'm disappointed that I was not informed about this, as it would have saved me literally hundreds of dollars. Third, I discovered that the office never filed a claim with my insurance provider, meaning I wasn't going to receive even a partial reimbursement from my insurance. It wasn't until 7 weeks later when I inquired about the status of my case that the admins at Omene filed this claim. The dental practice itself seems to be high quality but given that I've never had so many problems on the administrative side before, I felt that this was a fair score.

I am using them for an oral Sleep Apnea appliance. I couldn't use CPAP so I went the route. Dr Paster was very upfront about the cost and how much my insurance might pay vs my out of pocket. I didn't have to do anything and Medicare/my Medigap covered 100% which was a pleasant surprise. This worked out despite the fact that I had tried CPAP and returned it within the trial period which complicates Medicare filing - several other providers refused to take my case. This office came through for me with flying colors!!
