I was referred by a co-worker, and had given a specific doctor to ask for. Called to make a consultation for TMJ, which is extremely painful. I've been seeing Ericka for about five/six years now. I love love love my dentil hygienist, Jill. Every visit she reminds me that I'm her VIP for the hour and she's always so sweet. Even though I really like Ericka, Jill, and the office location/decor; I can't give five stars based off of recent interactions with Debbie who handles billing. In the past six months my family has had two billing issues, both stemming from their office. Debbie was incredibly rude and condescending on the phone with me when I called to inquire/resolve the issues. Just this morning I had the "pleasure" of speaking with Debbie and a colleague overhead the discussion and couldn't believe her tone of voice and how she spoke to me. This is a very classy practice. Most people dread going to see the dentist but Dr. Klein and her staff go out of their way to make you comfortable. On each visit I'm greeted by first name when I walk into the office. They always ask about my daughter and how she is developing. They probably keep personal notes on each client but it's that personal touch that sets them apart. During my cleanings, the hygienist repeatedly checks to make sure that I'm comfortable and don't need anything. Dr. Klein is very personable and takes her time to explain everything. Everyone at Dr Klein's office is amazing!!! I had the pleasure of being one of their first patients almost 10 years ago- after neglecting my dental care for wayyyy too long I went in expecting the worst. Ericka's staff was very reassuring and extremely gentle. I cannot review Dr. Klein specifically, because her office failed to call me back on two different occasions when I tried to schedule an appointment. I would have been a new patient and called to schedule an appt. for a cleaning. I called during their business hours but received their voicemail and left a message with my name and phone number. After over a week of not hearing back, I called again and this time spoke with someone who took down all of my information, but said that first Dr. Klein likes to check to see if someone's insurance will cover whatever needs done in the office. So the receptionist told me she would check and call me back. Never heard back---that was over a week ago. read more

Dr. Erica Klein is the very best dentist and practice that I have ever been to and I have lived in NYC and DC! Not only is her technique brilliant -- she is so gentle, too! She has only state of the art equipment, techniques, and staff! I just love the aromatherapy and pet friendly environment too! I bring my dog to her office and they are just great with him! The last time I was there -- one of the staff even took my dog for a walk while I was getting a procedure done. Talk about service -- I bet that there is NOT another practice in our area who provides this kind of 5 star service for their patients. A+ for her on all accounts. Imagine it's a fabulous practice but good luck getting in. I booked my children as new patients 6 months in advance. A month before the appointment we had to make a change due to my children's spring sports practices (which one does not know six months in advance). After waiting 6 months to get in, I was treated as a "new patient" and had to wait another 3 months to get a cleaning for the children - not advisable and certainly not healthy. Although very sweet about it, the associate who was handling my call could not have cared less that I said I would have to return to our old dentist, for waiting nine months for an appointment was a bit much. Then I queried why it took so long and she responded that once you have your appointment, you book your next one six months down the road. Better hope you do not have a change of plans that you cannot control for you'll be months waiting. This is not cosmetic work but dental hygiene and because they are an excellent practice, they can, I assume, not give a damn about who comes and goes for there is a long line awaiting! Very disappointed that after a six month wait I was treated so poorly. read more
