I spoke with Paul to see where we should stand to dance, so we wouldn't be blocking anyone's view. He said off to the left side of the stage near the bar, which worked out perfectly since we wanted to order drinks and have a place to set them down. We both got a Long Island Iced Tea $15ea., which wasn't cheap but Jason was a wonderful bartender. The drinks were good & strong! Both Nicole & Jason from Preserve took great care of us at the bar.

Not wanting to negotiate stairs we searched for and found the elevator. Once on the second floor, we learned that we were a half an hour early. Fortunately, there were a couple of chairs. We found a small table with a bowl snacks. I purchased a couple of drinks from the small bar. The show was excellent with very good acoustics. We will return to Winters Opera House when we can.

I was not very impressed by the hall itself unfortunately. The location is a bit out of the way and the lighting is terrible! I felt as though I was in an elementary school cafeteria or something. The chairs and tables were much too close together, there was no room to walk. The kitchen area is very out of the way and the opening is so small that it isn't ideal for a large number of people. Over all this spot may be better for day time events or for events with a smaller group of people but I wouldn't book big events such as a wedding here.

We loved this venue because of the flexibility it offered to have the ceremony at the pond and the reception in the barn. Getting to bring in our own catering for food and bartender for drinks at no additional cost was a huge bonus! The views of the property and great price were what sold us on booking this venue and we could have been happier with our choice! Our wedding was honestly the happiest day of our lives and I would highly recommend this venue.

They were open to other ideas, and very flexible and accommodating. The venue is huge, so it can accommodate a large wedding if needed. Our wedding was about 150 people, and there was more than enough room. It's surrounded by beautiful walnut orchards and you can see the valley and mountains from different parts of the venue, which was totally our vibe; we loved it. The bridal suite and backyard where the men are designated to hang out are both very nice. The backyard is cool and shaded and chairs are provided, so all the guys needed was an ice chest for their beer. The bridal suite was great with it's historic charm, and beautiful farmhouse vibe. It was also handy that the small kitchen is available to all us girls since we were there all day. The price point for what you get with the venue is very fair in my opinion. I shopped around and checked other venues, most local in Yolo County, but a few others in Sacramento and surrounding areas. I absolutely loved that we get the ranch for 3 days, it took off so much pressure when you're planning and putting together your wedding yourself. We used a day of coordinator, but just family and friends helped to set up and breakdown everything, and it worked out great. Other venues didn't compare when I looked at what was included in their packages. As the bride, it was a great start to begin checking things off the list; it certainly made it a little easier that so much was included. Overall, we really enjoyed working with Brent and Chelsea. Although, the ranch is a fairly new venue, it's a great place for a wedding. They are constantly making improvements to make the Big Day easier or more beautiful. Even from when we first walked the venue in December 2017, to our wedding in September 2018, improvements were made and it made our day even easier and more special.

It's a private event space for lots of other cool stuff like dancing, live music, (country, swing, funk, soul, Americana, etc.) and church. Sometimes even all at once. They also have special dinners here, but none are veggie friendly. Still, you wouldn't know unless you ask. I do get accommodated at trivia. The space is nice, with a side room that has a bar, bathrooms, an outdoor foyer, and the main event space area inside. There are likely rooms I don't know about. It's a smaller space, but a nice one imo. Though there is a parking lot attached, the entrance is a bit of a doozy when you're trying to find it the first time. U turns likely coming from Downtown. It's not far from us, and we like coming here to hang out with friends and play trivia. Can't complain, and the bar prices are right. My sister had stumbled upon The Timbers at Silveyville in a venue search, and I was impressed immediately upon Jeri's prompt response. Jeri, Ted, and their team are super awesome to work with-- very communicative and extremely kind. The Timbers was the first tour my husband and I toured in our search, and Jeri encouraged us to take our time in our search-- creating a pressure-free experience in our decision making. My husband and I knew we had found our venue after we toured because of how welcoming both the people and the space were. We booked it the next day! Now that our reception has come and passed, I am delighted to say that Jeri ensured a stress-free experience. She was communicative throughout the lead up to our reception, and her team was able to cover set up of our decorations. Everything turned out beautifully! Our guests were stunned by the beauty of the place, I lost track of how many times people asked us how we found such a gem of a place. Numerous guests called The Timbers enchanting and feeling like a fairytale. People additionally enjoyed the swings that were placed out, as well as exploring and feeding the ducks with the duck feed. We got an overwhelming amount of positive feedback. For starters, the sign-up process couldn't be more straightforward; you just go to their website, create an account, select a package, enter your payment info, and voila, within a few hours, you get a welcome message and instructions on accessing the site. The Owner, Do, is always happy to answer questions and has been very quick to respond to any questions or concerns. As for the site, I work at the International House site, and I really like the layout. It's in the lower section of the house, but there is still plenty of natural light from the windows. The space is clean and comfortable, with lots of seating and tables. They have a large conference room that can be used ad hoc or scheduled. Amenities include coffee and tea, a refrigerator for your lunch, fast Wi-Fi, and even a printer. The facility has several clean and well-stocked restrooms and is just a few blocks from plenty of restaurants and markets. I have met many friendly people here at Davis Co-Working who are students, project managers, software developers, and more. They have all been very polite and professional, and we share the space nicely. If you are looking for a place to work 24/7 for a reasonable price, with excellent service, then I would run, not walk, to their website and join today.
