The dispatcher informed me that the cab had come and I wasn't there, and I said, "If that was true, the cab was invisible." I asked a second time for a pickup. At 5:45 I called a third time for the cab that never came, and was informed that "I" had canceled the pickup. I did not. I complained about the absence of service on Google, and Discount Taxi replied that I am mentally ill. I stood in front of my house for more than an hour for nothing but abuse! The next morning, I called Independent Taxi. They arrived 12 minutes later. I am not mentally ill. I am angry and disgusted. Discount Taxi is worth exactly what I paid that afternoon: nothing.

Got an answering machine or voice mail. Did not leave a message. Called 5 minutes later and was answered by 7 7's taxi. I asked if they were actually Discount Taxi and she replied no and quickly asked "Do you want a cab." Told her sure if they are Discount Taxi. She said no and quickly asked again "Do you want a cab?" Obviously the one man shop at Discount forwarded his phones, but I am not cattle and will not be herded in another direction by someone who seems to care less about the concept of professionalism.

Well this driver did show @ 12.35 am and he was very rude and said I should be thankful he came to get me ??? I have a medical problem's and recovering from a stroke & heart attack i need a walking stick for balance so with out any help from the driver I had to load my packages in the trunk and hear him rant and rave all the way to my home on Imperial palm dr The charge for the ride was under $10.00 so the driver would not accept my debit card as payment ?? so i gave him cash $13.00 and he did help me with my packages and I was shocked that he did this after his crazy attitude I was in so much pain in my legs from standing their i had to take extra pain pills so this is the reason this company in in bankruptcy court and the reason the PSTA is now looking to replace them & to treat a handicapped person is so unprofessional and to have to be told by a crazy driver that Iam lucky to be picked up at all well all i have to say at this point I will never use them and will report this to the state Limousine & Taxi Commissioner as well as the state agency for people that are handicapped please do not use this company

Last Tuesday we both had previous commitments so we got mom a ride with Easy Rider. The driver was on time and helped mom in and out if the car. For the return trip mom got a little confused about who to call and ended up calling me. I called Easy Rider and Christine assured me that a driver was in the area and would get mom in a few minutes. Which he did. Christine also called my mother to assure her the driver was on the way, and sent me a follow up text message. Thanks to Easy Rider I don't need to worry about mom's transportation if my sister and I are unavailable. For this reason alone, their service is priceless!

AAA Service Experience I wanted to share my recent…read moreexperience with AAA because I'm pretty frustrated with how things were handled. When I set up service, it looks like my address was automatically pulled into their system incorrectly without me even confirming it. The wrong address was entered, and I only found out when I had to call customer service to correct it. I contacted AAA and specifically told them the address on file was wrong and needed to be updated. The representative said she fixed it, but that never actually happened. When I was later contacted, they still had the old incorrect address. So clearly, the update was never properly entered into the system or communicated. That means I was basically told it was handled when it wasn't. On top of that, I'm really tired of the constant reliance on text messages. Not everyone uses a cell phone as their primary contact--some people still rely on a home phone. There should be a better system in place, like giving customers clear options: If you use a cell phone, you can get texts and updates If you use a landline or home phone, there should be a different method or direct call option Right now, it feels like the system assumes everyone uses a smartphone, which isn't realistic for all customers. Also, the timing communication needs improvement. I was told they would arrive within a certain timeframe, but they were about 30 minutes late without proper update or notice. If there's going to be a delay, customers should be informed in real time instead of being left waiting. Overall, AAA really needs to improve: Address updating accuracy Internal communication between customer service and dispatch Flexibility in communication methods And honesty with arrival time estimates I expected more reliability and professionalism, but this experience fell short.
