It´s maybe 3,5 stars but I can pick only three or four and it´s probably closer to three so let´s stay with three. Ok, enough with math, let´s do some serious review :-) It´s weird. Telč, such a beautiful town, with center of the town registered on the UNESCO list and with a lot of tourists. But it´s kind a mission impossible to find a really good restaurant. This restaurant is located right in the square. Unfortunately the first impression wasn´t good. The waiter is probably not a people person (which sucks if your are a waiter) or he was stressed because the restaurant was crowded and he was the only waiter. Anyway after my question if we can sit in one of the rooms in the back (the light was off there so that´s why we better asked) he just waved his hand and said with annoying tone of voice something like "yes, whatever". So ok. We sit and than waited for 5 minutes for the menus. I gave it up and brought them myself. And actually that was the moment when it got better. When the waiter noticed we have a menus he came and asked what we want with normal tone of voice. Drinks and meals got on our table pretty fast and it was pretty good. So that´s why three stars. Half of the visit sucked and half was ok :-) Local cuisine is mainly czech. Meals were very good. No miracle but we enjoyed it. Definitely four stars. And actually schnitzel would be even for five. Local beer from Telč is very good too so no complaints about quality of meals and beverages. They have a garden right in the square so you can enjoy the beautiful view while having a lunch or dinner. Oh yes, I forgot about another thing which could be better - ratio price/quality. I would definitely go lower with price. The meals are pretty good but not excellent so...And I know that we are in a tourist area but still. I hope that the service and prices will improve till our next visit will add one star, maybe two. read more

A small but cozy restaurant located in the center of the Telc old town. The service was quick, staffs were friendly. They even offer hot water during our visit in the cold spring season. There are not many decent restaurants to select in this famous old town. Thus this restaurant could be one of the better selections locally. read more

Pleasent surprise in Telc - after first small disapointment (fistr two meals we chose weren't available, but to be honest it was late afternoon of Natinaol holidays) we chose fresh tagliatelle one with pork meat and dried tomatoes and second with pesto and parmazan. Food was delicious and also servise was decent, quick and nice. read more
