Yep, this is a very charming old school European hotel. Our room was a triple and it had very high…read moreceilings with older, but functional furniture. The room included a safe and frig and it was quite roomy. There are a few standouts here... The Lesser Town location is ideal if you want to be in the "real" Prague - away from the maddening tourist crowds. Then, there's the rooftop terrace which is a great hangout during the evening or between 3-5 PM when free tea and snacks are served. The front desk gal, Marcela, was truly the nicest person we met during our entire stay in Prague. Her English is excellent and it was refreshing to actually have a genuine conversation with a Czech as many of the locals prefer to not socialize with us tourists. She's a real gem and she's also a valuable resource for local info. Finally, there's the breakfast here which is simply wonderful with many different and interesting types of food included. The coffee is superb as well All said, Hotel Julian is a great "off the beaten path" choice with easy access to the city tram system making exploring Prague an easy matter.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. We were absolutely thrilled with our stay at this hotel. The rooms are…read morewonderfully appointed and comfortable. An excellent value. The location was also excellent with easy access to many different public transport choices just around the corner. We could be anywhere in the city center in just a few minutes. Best of all, the service was outstanding. Such nice people. Special acknowledgement to Marcela for making our stay so enjoyable.

I stayed here during my Euro Vaca back in the summer of 2014 with my boyfriend. We had visited…read moreBerlin beforehand and traveled to Prague by train. Let me start off by saying that this is by far the nicest hotel I have ever been to. EVER. I've traveled quite a bit, and have been lucky enough to have stayed in some very nice, 5-star hotels. But Hotel Aria takes the cake. It's a small boutique hotel; a gem in Prague! The theme of Hotel Aria is music. The keys are in the shape of G clefs; even your "do not disturb sign" has Beethoven on it. When you first check in, you'll be offered a tour of the grounds (along with a glass of champagne) which you can take right there or any other time during your stay. There's a bar upstairs on the rooftop, which we did not go to. We opted out of the tour as we were tired from the trip, and unfortunately did not get another opportunity to take it. When you first check into your room, you'll notice a nice plate of chocolates and fruit on the table. The room is BEAUTIFUL. Carpets, lavish rugs, and the biggest, most comfortable bed I've ever slept on! The bathroom is huge with a his and hers shower. There's a desk and computer you can use, but also free Wifi. The room is overall rich, very different from the more business-like atmosphere I'm used to in hotels. The next time I go to Prague, I'm definitely staying at this hotel again!

Great location. Amazing breakfasts and 5 star terrace dining. Located in heart of old town Pragueread more
