Decided to try it and when we arrived it was empty with street parking. It was a Tuesday night and pretty cold which is why I'm guessing no one was there. Lots of seating options, bathrooms were clean and they had a big screen of music playing. The waitress was very friendly and took our drink orders and food orders right away. We got the chicken and anticuchos along with chicha morada. Food came out fast and the plates were huge. Waitress was very attentive and brought out all the sauces, extra napkins and was on sight in case we needed anything. Food was great, cooked how we asked for it and potatoes were not burnt. I was happy with my order and experience and recommend this place.

As the name suggests, they specialize in pollo a la brasa, rotisserie chicken cooked over charcoal, typically accompanied with fresh cut french fries and salad. In addition, they offer daily specials, and a full a la carte menu. Perhaps most importantly, this is a place that cares about its sauce selection. You'll feel like a true painter armed with the plate as your palette. When I received my meal, the waitress even double-checked to make sure all the sauces were all full. Their chicken comes with 3 sauces (also called cremas or aji): - the yellow sauce - huancaina - the green sauce - aji verde - the brown/reddish - olive sauce, salsa de aceituna

I was hungry and ready to stress eat because today was exhausting. My friend asked our shuttle driver for a local spot before we go back to the hotel. We got in, clean place, waited a few minutes, my crew and I (4 of us) ordered and the guy who took our order REMEMBERED what we said and spoke it back to the cooks. Impressive to say the least. Let's talk about the food... 4 wings: DELICIOUS (made with love) fries - didn't like so much. If they were fat fries, perfect but they were thin. Did have an option for wedge except I don't like wedge. I also got a small pack of juicy watermelon. Overall experience 100/10. Love seeing Persian people in NJ. Y'all are amazing. I will be back to try out the zingers (since they're the best to eat).

The chicken did have a flavor too it which was good, but got a little boring. The nice thing is that the chicken was crispier (but it was also less juicy). Pieces were smaller than other fried chicken spots like Popeyes. I ate 6 pieces versus the 4 I would usually have. No parking lot. Need to find a street spot

Don't expect that Caribbean / Jamaican flavor from their Oxtails, you definitely won't get that.. their oxtails are cooked Spanish style and served with pieces of stewed potatoes (which I love, i'm a Potatoe head lol) and yellow rice and beans. Overall, I would definitely order from here again when I'm in the mood for some fried chicken.

The growing popularity of Korean fried chicken reflects a greater familiarity with Korean culture…read more Celebrated for its crispy exterior and tender interior, Korean fried chicken has been a staple late-night snack in South Korea since the late 1970s and early '80s. It's typically known as "drinking food," or anju, though Koreans also enjoy the crispy pieces of meat with non-alcoholic drinks. The dish is most often made with bone-in chicken thighs or wings that have been coated in a cornstarch mixture. Traditionally, the chicken is fried twice to take it to the next level of crunchiness. Located on a busy Stuyvesant Avenue in Union, I decided on bb.q Chicken for lunch. The acronym "bb.q" in their name stands for "Best of the Best Quality," focusing on high-quality ingredients. Upon arrival as a first-timer at this modern, well-lit, clean establishment with Korean music playing throughout, I was greeted by the staff. Their menu features fried chicken, rice bowls, and Ddeok-Bokki. I decided on the Honey Garlic Wings brushed in a savory sauce with a mild tang of garlic and Chicken Fried Rice with vegetables in a classic kimchi base. The wings were prepared fresh (~20 mins prep time). The taste was deliciously amazing and addicting with a perfect balance of crispy and juicy with the right amount of spices. The complimentary pickled radish that came with the meal had a good balance. All was prepared for takeout even if one was dining there. Portions were healthy, and the price was comparable to the area. The staff is attentive and polite. Thank you for reminding me what real good fried chicken looks and tastes like.
