Only fixing things when we provided exactly what the building code mandated. They attempted to use dryer vent for the stove vent. As a firefighter I know what could and would eventually happen. Fire. The subcontractor did electrical work that was supposed to be done by the licensed electrician. They wanted full payment prior to job completion. As they were barely there I refused as I had zero confidence that they would continue work. Joe always had excuses why his crew wasn't here. Why the work had to be repaired. His crew left trash and damaged our backyard furniture. His excuse why he should not have to pay for the damage was that it was old furniture and probably needed replacement. I had a plumber look at his work later. Turns out a mistake was made with the install of the sink and it destroyed the cabinet below as it had a small steady leak. Avoid this contractor like the plague.

There was one thing I was unhappy with upon delivery of service and he sent a worker back to fix it. This act speaks volumes, not only to his character, but his dedication to ensuring a happy client for years to come. Being a part time designer I've had dealings with plenty of craftsman and can assure you this was an excellent experience. If I had to do it again, I'd hire KO Flooring.

Red Oak was clearly in my contract and Nick knew the rest of the house was Red Oak. Now it does not match the rest of my Red Oak floors. When I asked him what happened he lied and told me it was a mistake by his distributor however I was informed by one of his employees that Nick used the White Oak wood cause he had it in stock and saved money. Not a nice thing to do to your customer who spent close to 20k with his company. So I would not recommend KO Flooring or Nick to anyone.

We ordered our Cambria counter top from GranMarb back in April 2024…read more The counter top is beautiful and the install went perfect . The reason for my rating now is that we've gotten some chips in the counter top and when we purchased it we had been told that Cambria guarantees the countertop for life. So we went ahead and contacted Christina from GranMarb . We actually placed quite a few calls into GranMarb and spoke to Christina 3 times . We also left quite a few messages on the machine in between the phone convarsations and never received any calls back . As of today, July 15th we've heard nothing back from them . Our first contact to Christina to have the counter top repaired was June 25th. The last time we spoke to Christina, she said she had emailed and contacted Cambria and had not heard back from them. That was about two weeks ago. So we decided to contact Cambria directly. Within two days, we had the repair person from Cambria at our house, fixing the countertop chips. They also told us that they have had no contact with Christina from GranMarb. Which makes me feel that Christina from GranMarb never even tried to contact Cambria. It does not put a good taste in my mouth, knowing that after we purchased the countertop and GranMarb was paid that they could care less about their customers . Just so others know to be aware of how they treat their customers .
