There is a verification of identity form I asked him to sign which just states my name, address and which ID, like my driver's license they verified and then the notary signs that. I buy about a house a month and have wells Fargo do the majority of my signings without any notary yet refusing to sign that, which he refused... Really annoying. He also didn't know you are able to sign the document beforehand for an "acknowledgment" form (can't for a jurat). He seems to not know what's hes doing and needs some basic training still. And I actually was planning on opening up a business line of credit with Wells Fargo. Hopefully within the next week or two. I was going to chat with him about it, And apply. Definitely not now, Wells Fargo still has a long way to go to get comparable to chase with their business acumen.

I was happy to survive in not needing to have any kind of account with them for the time I've been alive. Unfortunately, I finally had to buckle down and replace my car. Got a used car, but my regular bank wasn't open by the time I decided on the car. The car dealership did the financing for me and picked Bank of America. Ugh. Overall, easy enough to pay for your monthly car loans. It's when you want to apply funds directly to the principal that you cannot do it online. Or, for whatever damn reason, I'm not able to, and I found out that perhaps only certain account holders have that option on their online account; even long-time BOA customers cannot tell me why they do or do not have that option on their accounts. Regardless, I called their main line and was told to go to a branch. And, when I talked to the staff here, they confirmed that they can apply funds directly to the principal (but couldn't tell me why that option is not on their website). So, now I have to come to BOA in-person to essentially give them money when I could have been more conveniently at home and process these type of transactions with other loan processors. Get to the 21st century please, BOA. The staff here have been good. The first few experiences where I actually talked to the staff to figure things out were as helpful as they could be, but were, of course, absolutely going to need to give me unpleasant news. Not their fault that they work for an incompetent company (honestly, I've been there and done that). One visit did have me a little concerned when I told them it was an auto loan and the payment was for the principal only (and it's even written on the check exactly how they've told me I need to write it out). They somehow still processed it as a car payment. I was able to catch it before I left the window, but it meant watching my car loan account for the next few days to make sure that the principal went down, and that extra money were not being taken out of my other bank. Fun times. And, yes, I've tried to move my auto loan to a different bank, but other banks don't want the trouble of such a "small" loan, since it's a small interest for them. So, I still have to go to this bank. But, you can bet that I'm trying to pay off my loan ASAP so that I can stop needing to go here.

The first two times that I went in they were too busy to assist me with the name change. I was told that I should come back the following day and/or schedule an appointment. So, I scheduled an appointment. On the third day I showed up to the bank and waited patiently for 15 minutes until a representative came up to inform me that since I had recently added my husband to the account he also had to be present. Why was I not given this information the first time that I came into the bank? As far as documentation, I had my old and new drivers licenses, my marriage license, new SS card, and mail as proof. I had to take an hour out of each day for three days, and still left the bank without accomplishing my goal. Bank of America lost a longtime customer today. We already started the process of transferring all our financial assets to another banking institution.

Out of nowhere they started hitting my account with fees I never saw coming. No warning email, no text, no letter in the mail--nothing. Just quietly draining my money for six straight months until one day I log in and the account's negative. How does a bank let something like that happen without ever reaching out? It's insane. Got passed around like a hot potato until I finally had to talk to two different branch managers just to get someone who could actually help. And the online chat people? Absolute garbage. Rude as hell, talking down to me like I was bothering them. Made me repeat the same story over and over, wasted my entire afternoon, and in the end they still wouldn't refund everything they took. Gave me some half-assed partial credit and basically told me to deal with it. After two decades of being a customer, this is the thanks I get? WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I got a credit card from this bank…read more3 months ago. And they said to call the number on the back of my card so they can mail me my PIN number. Well 1st it take up to an hour for the agent ( who speaks VERY broken English) to answer your call. Then they say " your PIN number will be mailed out to your home in 7 to 10 business days) well it's been over two months. I still haven't received a pin number even though I called back a second time and they said they sent out a second pin number which again I never received today I called up and I get a person who doesn't speak English, the worst one out of the tree so far and so he says he's sending out another pin number. I asked to speak to supervisor he told me to hold the line mind you I've been on the phone for over 60 minutes just to get a hold of this agent. He puts me on hold. He comes back on the phone and says stay online. The supervisor is busy. I said please don't disconnect me from this phone call. He says don't worry you won't get disconnected. I have to call back and go through all the hoops again over an hour on hold telling them the same story the same passwords the same information only to get a person that doesn't speak English correctly. I do my banking with Wells Fargo and this branch is the closest to my home. Most of my banking…read moreneeds are usually met through their ATMs. There are three drive-through ATMs so there is rarely a wait to use them. This is a smaller branch and on the rare occasions I have had to go inside, the teller line usually moves pretty quickly and all staff has always been very professional. My only gripe with this location is that if you need anything other than very basic services, they require you to make an appointment. There have been a few occasions when I had to send an urgent wire transfer, larger than the online wire limit, and they didn't have any available appointments for a few days. At least I know I can always go to the branch on Rose and Yorba Linda Blvd who takes walk-ins for most services without an appointment.
