Mind you, the banker is sitting at her desk less than 6 feet away from me without a customer. The banker proceeds to tell the teller that I would have to set an appointment. Again, the banker clearly knows that I am standing a short distance away from her, but she chooses not to address me. It was weird to say the least. In my mind, the banker could have easily looked to me and said she had a previously arranged appointment and that she would gladly be able to help me at a later time. Instead, the entire exchange was off-putting and clearly displayed a lack of customer service.

I despise that this is the closest branch to me. They are beyond dysfunctional. They have constant turn over and nobody seems to know what they are doing or cares. They do not work quickly or efficiently. I'm always in there standing in line for at least 20 min and then they slow poke around once it's my turn at the teller. A major lack of urgency. Chase welcomed me, my business and my personal accounts, and has given us the best and most personal service all the way. Christopher Hanson has taken care of me personally, any time I walk into the bank or call. If Christopher is not in, someone else talks to me within a few minutes. The tellers are wonderful, they say 'hi' before I am even halfway in the door. I've never had a problem. I think this is just the way this bank operates. I'm no one special... they just expect to smile at and greet their clients each and every time. I feel happy and confident with this one thing in my life... my banking at Chase is something I can just trust to go well.

I'm not sure why it's taken me so long to write this review but it's way overdue…read more I've been banking with First Bank for almost 10 years now and I have to say - this bank is EVERYTHING a bank should be. I used to bank with the big banks and all I ever was is an account number, at First Bank they actually get to know you and you them. And imagine this: you can actually call the branch and speak directly to a REAL PERSON! Unheard of these days (which I try not to do too often, after all, they are working and I don't want to abuse this). A couple of years ago someone stole my checkbook and wrote $2,000 worth of checks. I caught it at 4pm and called them. They jumped right on it and actually called the Federal Reserve clearing center and had the checks stopped. If they hadn't done this I would have lost the money (check aren't like credit cards, once they've cleared the money is gone). I've used many banks before, both for personal and for business, and this is the best bank ever. Tell Steve, the Branch Manager, or Kamal, the Operations Manager I sent you, lol.

What happened to the customer service at Golden One Credit Union? Do they not understand basic…read morecustomer service anymore? New manager perhaps? Poor training of staff or new employees? When you start with excellent customer service and team work you should always strive to stay there! Management you should train your staff each time you hire, to be kind and treat the people who trust your business with their hard earned money, kindly and with respect. You should also have more than one teller when the line is to the door, not one person stepped up to help the one teller although several people who weren't helping customers could have jumped in to help bring the line down. Do better for your customers and your employees so the morale is lifted, and the customers feel like you actually want their money in your bank!
