This is the most inconvenient banking institution I have ever had the displeasure of experiencing. I have been a U.S. Bank customer for years. I deposited a physical check in the ATM. It took 11 days to clear. I recently deposited a check through the mobile banking app that I was given through the bank on April 4. The bank said my funds will be available by the 14th. They were indeed still being held up. I received a letter saying that they were going to continue to delay my funds until now the 16th unacceptable that you purposely delay your customers who have never bounced a check in their account since the account has been opened. Additionally, this was a work check from an employer that had been in my account previously it should not have taken this long, and I got a letter stating that they were purposely delaying me. I will be closing my account and withdrawing every dime out of this bank do not bank with U.S. Bank. they are inconvenient. Do not care about their customers and it takes entirely too long for them to release your funds. If you want a piece of mind and access to your funds in a timely manner bank somewhere else not U.S. Bank. read more

SAD sign of the times! So after years of being a part of the MoneyPass Network, US Bank of all places has now removed itself from it. They are now penalizing customers with transaction fees. Meanwhile neighborhood gas stations and 7-Elevens are still a part of MoneyPas. What would make US Bank become so greedy just in time for the holidays? US Bank is apparently going broke, cutting corners or pinching pennies. They can never say they value customers again. read more

Opening an account with US Bank was the worst decision I've ever made with banking. I had the account for a week. I was already weary of opening an account because of all the bad reviews I've read, and was told from personal experience, so I only put $100 into the new account. I get my debit card mailed to me via UPS a couple days later, set up the debit card with online banking, and then changed over my direct deposit. The very next day after doing all that, I can no longer access my funds and I had to send address verification, the same address they shipped my debit card to, to their Deposit Operations email. Which takes 2 business days to even be reviewed. I couldn't transfer the funds out nor could I use the debit card. Customer service was absolutely no help. I've never opened, and subsequently closed anaccount so fast. I changed my direct deposit back to my original account, and I'm willing to lose the petty cash I put in the account to never use their banking services again and be able to post an honest review. I got a red flag from this bank the first week I used it. If you're looking for a checking and savings account, don't open a US Bank account, any other bank will service your needs better, and you won't have to deal with what I've had to deal with with my own money. Being declined on a petty purchase, and then being told I have to submit documentation, and I couldn't access my funds is alarming. I'm glad this happened before I received pay from work and was able to take my services back to a reliable source. Do better, and choose better banking besides this. read more

Update... I provided my contact information and received a call from a man named Chris who identified himself as a social media embassador for US Bank. He seemed to think I requested to speak with him rather than the other way around. I asked what action will be taken and was told that he did not know. I stand by my objection to allow any employee to ignore the mask mandate and pose a potential threat of infecting the public with Covid-19. I will miss the tellers as they are all excellent and I pray for their safety being forced to work in a space with a security guard who is not concerned with safety. I will not return in person and encourage others to avoid the Dolton location. read more

Please folks, if you can help it; stay away from this location. 1st The ATM machine at this location is always malfunctioning and people are losing money 2nd The bank tellers and managers will shoo you away if you dont have a US Bank account there (although they still can not help aid with people losing money at their location atm). 3rd Tony Santana and Mrs Cain together are the worst. These two work together to send people away as quickly as possible instead of rectifying the situation. Story: My family and I use this location from time to time because we live here in Dolton and it's convenient to go here. My aunt utilized their atm, which never dispensed her request for $700 cash, but on her end, it came out her account. Naturally, she goes inside to let them know that their machine malfunctioned and what should she do, or wanted to know what will be done. The initial response of both manager and teller was that of someone who was suspicious of a loyal CUSTOMER rather than try to help and figure out the problem. According to the manager and teller (Mrs Cain) because she wasn't a "US Bank" customer, they were unable to assist her in any type of way. Well hours later after tracking down someone who could help, it was founded that it did not matter if she was an account holder or not; the atm was a third party entity that had to be handle by the card issuer. Understood. Moral of the story: No CUSTOMER visiting any place of business should EVER have to go through the humiliation of explaining their misfortune to the point where they walk out distraught with no answers. My aunt had to go back a second time and only then the manager finally admitted to this same atm having issues , wrote a letter explaining malfunction, then lastly, finally apologizing. Absolutely appalling. I will never ever open an account here nor will I utilize any services here because the people at this branch are not properly trained on how to abstract common courtesy and customer service. read more

OK. So where do I begin I went to this US Bank and was ROBBED!!! literally I used the ATM and it NEVER dispensed my cash!!!!! I filed a dispute claim AFTER AND BEFORE the Branch manager Tony Santana verified there was problems with the ATM..soon after that I was told by Tony the branch manager that on THEIR END THEY...still have no clue who THEY is said that the transaction was PENDING and never went through.but the money was deducted from my account.. ALSO I was given a letter from the branch manager TONY SANTANA verifying their was a malfunction with the ATM and soon after my incident they put the ATM machine OUT OF SERVICE the branch Manager TONY SANTANA also said that it was out of service for several days!!!!! there's definitely something fishy going on here there's definitely a boatload of deception and I'm getting to the bottom of it you're not going to tell me that I and it's on they came there to withdraw money from your ATM and the Machine crashed so okay now it's time for Step 2 I would never ever ever do business with this bank I'm going to continue with reviews until I get I get a positive resolution to this fishy story read more
