This garage is not open for public parking. It can be walked into, so if you are looking for something secure or climate-controlled, this might not suit your needs. I feel like it's quite safe. There are security cameras and motion activated lights in addition to regular lighting. I have never seen anything unusual here and have never seen any broken windows. I drive an EV, and the upper level of this garage has 4 chargers (these are definitely a rarity in the Old Market). I use these frequently. They are on ChargePoint network. For the chargers, it costs $1 for 4 hours, with a price increase after that. The upper level is public parking as well as monthly. It is a little cheaper than the lower level but has a significant problem in that they can't guarantee you will have a space if there are a lot of people using it as public parking (they do try to account for this but not always successfully. It was a deal-breaker for us, but fortunately we were able to get a space on lower level (spaces are not assigned, but they don't oversell them and there are always plenty available). But like I said, the EV chargers are upper level, and we had to make arrangements initially with them to be able to use the upper lot (ONLY when charging). It seemed a hassle at the moment but has not been a problem in the year+ we have been doing it now. That being said, owning an EV and living in the Old Market - it's really not easy to do this. Be prepared to spend a lot of time and effort charging your car, unless you find a better system than I have. As a public parking lot, this place is fine. It used to be better until last summer when they put it on the same payment system with kiosks as the rest of city parking. Though it has a different pricing structure so it seems to be confusing for everyone. Still better than trying to find street parking when visiting the Old Market though.

No stars!!!! We had to call the POLICE on the shuttle driver!!!!…read more We returned from a very long day of international travel when all we wanted to do was get home on the last step of the travel day to get to our car. The shuttle was already at the airport waiting which was great! we went over to the shuttle to load our bags. With a very condescending sigg he got up to load our bags. no gretting nothing. could tell he was not in a good mood, which was fine everyone has bad days so whatever. he drove at least 60-65+ on the way to the budget parking lot. Again, he was signing and tossing our bags with no care of what we had inside them. As my daughter was taking the first bags to the car around the front of the shuttle my 5 year old granddaughter was trying to roll her bag to the car also. As I got off the bus i had my hands full , trying to figure out how i could get to my purse to tip and the undeserving driver, he stated with anger "oh were not going to tip at all, is that how it's gonna be?". I told him wow, could you give me 5 minutes to empty my hands but now that you've said it that way you're right I'm not gonna tip!! He then was just angrily stating that I wasn't going to tip anyway and it's pretty standadd practice lady to tip your drivers!!! Again, I said do you see my hands are completely full?! he continued to mumble and make snide remarks, he then shut the bus door and put it in drive and start rolling forward , thank GOD he didn't push on the gas or he would've ran over my granddaughter who was still struggling to get her suitcase to the car! I banged on the doors screaming at the top of my lungs to stop because he almost hit her!! He then slammed the brakes, slammed it in park whipped open the doors and starting yelling at the top of his lungs that you people need to keep our kids in check! I said she was still trying to get her suitcase to the car and shes 5. He practically jumped out of the shuttle like he was going to come at us. we were 2 women , 1 small girl and he was a big guy. We were very scared so we called 911 and waited in our locked car. He drover off and parked the buss but lost track of where he went after that. The police couldn't do really anything other than to make sure we got out safely. THIS GUY IS A CRAZY MANIAC he either hates his job or his life or both and is taking it out on innocent people just trying to have smooth traveling. Unfortunately, we didnt get his name, but do have the date, time and license plate of the shuttle bus he was driving. I have NEVER had this experience with a shuttle driver before ever!!! Totally unacceptable!!! WONT EVER USE THIS PLACE AGAIN!! Their employees are useless and crazy!!!!

When I pulled up, she berated me when I tried to ask how things worked with an online reservation. She cut me off mid-question to yell at me to take a ticket and park. Then upon leaving, I gave her my ticket she had yelled that I needed to take, and she didn't ask if I had a reservation. She merely charged for the amount the ticket had clocked. When I asked about the reservation again, she yelled at me for not saying I had a reservation and said that she doesn't ask, so it was my responsibility to bring it up. Mind you, again, this was my first time at this lot, instructions were less than clear, and she was less than willing to answer questions. She had overcharged, so I was handed $2.50 in cash for the difference after presenting my reservation receipt because she couldn't refund it to my card. Then, after looking at my reservation receipt and how much she was going to charge based on my clocked ticket time, the reservation was more expensive. I paid $12.50 up front and $45.50 at the lot for my 9 days, whereas the woman said my total was $48 had I just handed her the time ticket. A scam to book online and unkind employees.

Until recently it was mostly shopping, and now of course you have the "been around forever" Wheatfields, another Popp eatery, Andres, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Red Mango, 801 Chophouse, and the belle of the ball, Trader Joes. It's funny to think most Omaha millennials might remember Trader Joes as the only Abercrombie and Fitch in town for awhile. How fitting it became another millennial destination! The parking is kind of a mess, it's very cramped and most parking is for TJ's. One bright spot is Zen Coffee has a drive through there so you can grab a delicious matcha latte before your weekly shopping. I'm glad to see new life and staples stay in this plaza.

I get my hair cut at Five Salon which specializes in Aveda products. Next door is L'Occitane which is a line of beauty products and fragrances from Provence in the South of France. Kinda pricey but it's the real deal. Fun just to look at their beautiful packaging. Last year I started buying dress pants for work at Talbots. Again, not cheap but high quality (and they have frequent sales). There's a Bath & Body Works, Sur la Table for high end kitchen ware, Wheatfield's and Andres Tortillery for dining options, and other small boutiques. Last but not least, I absolutely cannot visit One Pacific Place without stopping at Nothing Bundt Cakes and picking up a couple of bundtlets - one chocolate chocolate chip and one Flavor of the Month!! Truth be told, sometimes I make up an excuse to stop at One Pacific Place just to go there. :-)

I have always called them in the past to let them know we'll be using their parking, what day and how many vehicles, and did just that about a month prior to our trip just last week. I have always been told, there is no problem, however, they also say, they don't need my name. This time we showed up as planned, with three vehicles, and 9 people for our trip out of Epply. When I went to the door, it had a sign on it saying "FULL". I told them I'd called over a month ago, and was told no problem. No answer, except "WE'RE FULL". I asked for a call from their owner....no call. We had a rush to get all our luggage, with a couple older people who had trouble lifting and moving their own luggage from airport parking, and difficulty with the children we had with us keeping all together. If they are not going to honor what they say on the phone, possibly, they should start writing down names, so at the very least is they could have called us in route to say they'd given away our spaces. Pay the difference in price or allow for time for them to not be honest in getting you to a flight at the airport. Sue Johansen

I love that everything is so close together, so that it is easily walkable once you find a parking place (which speaking of that, can be a little hard to come upon a parking spot!) But once you DO find a parking spot or get dropped off, there are so many places to go and eat and drink and hang out. Our favorites are Nite Owl, Crescent Moon, First Round, Scriptown, and Mula. I do think there is a premium on food and drinks, when it comes to Blackstone. Could you get a cheaper drink elsewhere in town? I think so, but you're paying that extra cost, I think, to be in a district with lots of different places to check out instead of staying in one place with one menu. I have a few friends who live in the Blackstone District, and that's also not an inexpensive housing area to look at when house hunting. But they do love the easy access to a lot of businesses. Right now it's HEAVILY under construction and it can be very hard to find a place to park and then walk to your destination. Some places have even CLOSED because of the construction messing up the access to their buildings, unfortunately. Overall, I think Blackstone is a nice little spot with some good businesses. I hope it doesn't go the way of Midtown Crossing where they added a bunch of business and then it kind of went downhill and places ended up closed (aside from the construction woes) and it ends up kind of a ghost town. But for now, Blackstone is a hip little area to check out, definitely!

The elevators are sketchy, all they did was add a tile floor and some wood panels on the wall of the elevators to make them seem nicer. The elevators are also incredibly slow. Because of this, I tend to take the stairs. That is also not pleasant. They simply painted over the cement in an attempt to make it look nicer (it doesn't). Unlike their website says, the garage is not clean. The only positive I can say is they did replace the lights so it is well lit. The distance between the floor and the ceiling is not much. With my crossover SUV, I barely feel like I make it through without scraping the crossbars on top of my vehicle on the ceiling. Don't even think about driving a good-sized truck in there. There are definitely better options out there. For a short period, I had parked in the Park Five garage. It was half what Brandeis is charging and a hundred times nicer.

There is dirt, garbage, and bird/mouse feces piled everywhere, and the stairwell smells like urine. The lines on the floor are not visible due to the amount of dirt that has accumulated. There is zero security, and I have watched random people just hanging out amongst the cars, a man shooting up heroin in the stairwell, and someone break off the ticketing stall arm in broad daylight. The elevators are rarely working, and when one of them does, it will often malfunction and take you to the wrong floor (frequently the basement). Management is incompetent, bordering on negligent regarding any complaints/issues. I changed my leased spot number over the phone, but it was not updated in their system, resulting in my being towed ($300) and the manager refusing to accept responsibility for her office's mistake. Normally I am not a confrontational person, so this was the worst argument I have ever had in public with another human being. I feel genuinely sorry for the people who have been tricked into living in the attached apartment building, which seems to be in a similarly poor condition, and shares the same management office.
