I requested two movers to transport me from a two bedroom apartment to a three bedroom home. I appreciated their patience as they took their time and did not rush the move. I told them when they arrived that all my stuff would not fit...and I was correct. Had to pay for an hour and a half of travel time because they had to make 2 trips. They dropped my favorite piece of furniture, an armoire, while coming down the stairs, and one of the men was caught under it. The top came off and was all scratched up...now I have to try and paint it. They ONLY MOVED FURNITURE and would not move ANY boxes, tvs, or pictures!!! Cost me over $900 and I still had to rent a uhaul to move all of our boxes, tvs and other personal items. I called the man I had been communicating with via text message and he was very rude and told me that it was MY fault that I had given him the wrong amount of items that I had (even though he never asked about the items). When I questioned him about "the baby" trailer, he started crawfishing and wanted to know who told me that. He said he would only knock off $50 from the price and that he "would not argue with me about it". I was not arguing with him, I only questioned why I had to pay for travel time, and was very calm during the conversation. I paid the entire bill and tipped the men who worked, because they were polite and they did work hard. Still upset about having to try and fix my armoire, but more upset that they left a single mom with 3 kids having to move all the boxes and personal stuff and spend more money to get into our home.
