When they arrived, I decided to video them using their nifty lifting straps because we are considering buying them for future moves. They did an excellent job getting this piece upstairs (:39 seconds) and in place with no damage, from the car to its new place in 5 minutes, really 5 minutes. How wonderful! Then I asked how much I owed. I should have asked this first. They charged me $100. I understand that I am paying for their ability to get my furniture upstairs unharmed, equipment, their expertise, their insurance, and all the things that go into being a professional company, but at $100 for 5 minutes, they are making $1200 an hour. I guess if you have a whole house full of stuff, you better be ready to pay in the thousands. Be smart and ask ahead. They did a good job, but I can't afford them. I'll be calling someone else next time.

The next day (moving day) they sent 8 people (with 3 being the same from the day before) and wasn't much better. They ran out of paper AND boxes. They put stuff where ever and piled most of it in my garage. I had to hire someone to come help me sort and at least get some organization to it all so I could at least find things I needed. When it came to unpacking I found that they had put cast iron pans on top of glass etc. with little to no paper. Also piled all my lamps in a wardrobe box with no cushioning or paper...it's just a jumbled mess. This is in Amarillo TX. I have hired this company before in Delaware and they did a great job so decided to use them again....won't make that mistake twice!

I used this individual in May of 2015 to move me into a very small apartment. When I originally…read morecalled him (the owner) he was very courteous and willing to help at a short notice. He arrived to my house at the time expected but he showed up without a truck to move my furniture. That should have been enough of a red flag for me, any legitimate business person should have the necessary equipment to complete the tasks for which they are hired but I was in a time crunch with only one truck load to be moved so I allowed him a chance to locate a truck. The truck actually turned out to be some kind of a flatbed work truck (not really fit for moving) but he assured me that he had all of the rope and tie downs necessary to secure all of my property, NOT! To make a long story short, the mover (owner of the company) failed to secure one of the boxes that I had specifically pointed out as a concerned, as a result, most of my belongings in a very important box fell off the truck and spilled into the middle of one of the busiest intersections in the city. By the time I made it over to the intersection where it had occurred, he had the box loaded in the cab of the truck and stated that he had gathered up all but a few documents that the wind had blown away. Also untrue, we (the owner and I) spent the next hour or so combing nearby fields gathering MANY hand written poems and other important items that had been scattered by the wind. A very bad experience in which he offered a small discount as compensation, "totally free" have been an easier pill to swallow but still not quite. When it was time to move back into my home, I called the owner to try and give him the opportunity to redeem himself but he apparently felt as though our previous business transaction was business as usually. I obviously used other means instead. I should have know better! Do yourself a favor and avoid this "moving company", otherwise you are taking a big risk and will likely be unhappy with the service you receive.
